Matan told me, “I was distressed at how my weight just continued to climb. I’m only 27 years old.” 😩
How did he end up at The Wellness Clinic?
“I relayed my feelings to my father, and he reminded me that my brother had gone to Alan and successfully lost weight. He’s kept it off, too.”
And so Matan started at The Wellness Clinic.
In only 6 weeks he’s dropped 10 Kilo (22 pounds). 🥳
Matan feels good, looks good, and most of all he’s never hungry.

Oded was a client of mine over a year ago. When work got really busy, he dropped out of the program. Oded came to visit this week and he is 51 pounds lighter…yet feels lousy 😞. Why?
He is using one of the newer weight-loss GLP-1 drugs. He is nauseous, constipated, and low on energy 😯.
Oded decided it’s time to get back to good WFPB eating and wean himself off the drugs 👍.
So as of this week, our new adventure begins 😃.

Need some more tips to keep your focus over Shavuot?
Here are a few more tips:
🥗Only take seconds on low-oil, plant-based foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and legumes.
🚶♂️Stay active. Short walks after meals and longer ones at other times do wonders.
👍Most important—after the holiday, know that you are right back on track.
The Wellness Clinic wishes you a happy holiday—Chag Sameach😀

“So, what do you do?”
A question I am often asked as a plant-based, low-oil eater. Especially with the holiday of Shavuot coming up.
At holiday times, I do the things I tell everyone else:
🍞Even if you’re not 100% on your eating regimen, 80-90% compliance still brings great health outcomes.
🍦When you indulge in foods you don’t normally eat, whether meat or dairy, keep your portions small.
😉Eat mindfully and enjoy what you eat. No time for guilt-feelings.
Stay tuned for more tips!

Tonight I will be traveling abroad. As with all travel, challenge is inevitable😐. Before traveling, take some time to figure out what challenges you can anticipate. Maybe some things can be solved ahead of time:
Food 🥕 – Make healthy choices even when eating out. See what foods you can bring with you.
Water💧– If you are flying, planes dehydrate. Drinking Water is also key for minimizing jet lag.
Exercise & Activity 🚴♂️– Do I already know where/when I’ll have time for this? Will I need to plan it out each day?
Be realistic, not perfect. And don’t forget your health ☺️.

Eating a plant-predominant, Mediterranean-style diet can go beyond anything you can expect.
A new case study of someone stage 5 kidney failure (end-stage kidney failure) was reversed with a whole food plant-based diet 🤩.
It's not too good to be true. Diet can be a powerful tool 💪.
