The Vogalonga celebrated its 50th anniversary this year, which made this experience extra special. The Red Dragons Miami family is already looking forward to making more memories together.

Last Sunday, the Red Dragons Miami took to the waters, paddling through the historic canals of Venice and around its breathtaking islands. 🚣‍♂️🇮🇹
Venice, you truly have our hearts. Thank you for being so unforgettable! Capturing the magic of the 50th anniversary of the Vogalonga was definitely one for the books. 📕 🏆

Today, Red Dragons Miami had the honor of participating in the 50th anniversary of the Vogalonga in Venice, Italy! 🇮🇹
We joined an amazing community of 8,000 paddlers and 2,000 boats to take over the canals of Venice, completing a breathtaking 30-kilometer course around the islands. 🚣‍♂️✨
We are incredibly proud of this accomplishment and truly lived up to our motto: Practice together, paddle together-even on a completely different continent! 🐉💪🔥

Learning from our incredible coaches, who bring over 20 years of expertise to the water, is how we get stronger together. 🚣‍♂️💪

Tampa 2026 was one for the books! Pan Am Dragon Boat Festival 🐉✨
We brought 3 boats to the line and are heading home with 2 medals:

🥈SILVER | Senior Women (10)
This season has proven that hard work pays off. At Red Dragons Miami, we stick to the old-school philosophy: we practice together, we race together, and we win as one big family.
Whether we're losing a medal by 0.5 seconds or overcoming a
5-second deficit to take the finals, we do it together. Next stop: Italy 🇮🇹 for the 50th Anniversary of Vogalonga!

Vogalonga training! 🚣 Getting ready for Venice, Italy 🇮🇹. In May of 2026 the Red Dragons Miami 🐉 team will have the pleasure to participate in this year’s event. “Venice’s Vogalonga began in 1974, for the feast of Saint Martin. At the time it was just a race between friends, but by 1975 the Vogalonga as it exists today, with its 30 to 32 kilometers”. See you in May Venice, Italy!
