Special day up the club yesterday as our annual past v present fixture became the Inch Memorial Match.
Fantastic attendance, both players, supporters and club legends with a good battle on the pitch as we remembered our dear friend Inch.
The present side had much the better of the 1st half but only had a 2-1 lead to show for their efforts.
A deflected Christian Elkins free kick gave the blues the lead but the past equalised soon after with James Newell scoring at the back post off a fine cross by Adam Parfitt.
The present made it 2-1 with Cai Thomas diverting a Tito Anderson cross into his own net.
The 2nd half began with the miss of the century from Iain Gibson to make it 3-1 to the present which eventually proved costly!
The present equalised soon after when Adam Campbell finished well after being put through by Dylan Packer.
Campbell then twice turned provider for Nathan Jones to score a superb brace to make it 4-2.
And the game was rounded off in fittingly perfect style when Kian John finished well from the edge of box.
And the Inch Memorial Cup was handed to both captains Kian and Callum John who both had great games, by Inch’s fiancée Jo.
MOTM Nathan Jones (past) and Evan Williams present.
A great day to remember the legend Andrew John “Inch”.
Plenty of money raised for Velindre Cancer Charity.
And some sore heads today!

Not the way we’d wish to finish the season but full credit to Pure Swansea Football who were absolutely ruthless, and we congratulate you on being worthy Champions in competitive division 🏆 👏
Last nights MOTM young Cory Griffiths who continues to impress and learn.
Another tough season in Ardal Welsh League completed with hopefully a mid table finish secured.
A well deserved rest now from competitive football for the players, managers and our small committee before we go again next season.
Huge thanks for the support we’ve been shown throughout the season, both home and away.
Keep an eye on socials for Inch Memorial Day, Presentation and Pre Season information.
