After an incredible 2024 season, our 2nd Division Club Unión Tarija in Bolivia has officially qualified for the 2025 Promotion Group Championship! 🏆⚽

Running from February to November 2025, this championship offers a golden opportunity: the winner earns promotion to Bolivia’s 🇧🇴 1st Division! 🌟

But the journey doesn’t stop there. Once in the top flight, clubs compete to qualify for a shot at international glory in the CONMEBOL Copa Libertadores and Copa Sudamericana. 🌍✨

The stage is set, and the stakes couldn’t be higher. Our Futbol group is behind Unión Tarija as they chase thei dream of top-tier football and beyond! 💪❤️💛💚

What a great experience attending Thinking Summit in Porto, Portugal. We met with Sporting Directors from around the world, Multi Club Ownerships firms and gained insight on where soccer as a business is moving towards from revenue paths, fan engagement and media.
I must note that we did not see anyone from a USA club. But, then again the conference was crowded…… 😉

Former UC Berkeley, Cal Bear and Contra Costa FC player JJ Foe-Nuphaus was Man of the Match for Thisted FC in Denmark’s 2nd Division.

Christian Castillo former Contra Costa FC, Lamorinda MLS Next Coach, Asst Coach Bolivia U20 National Teamm is currently interim Head Coach at professional club AD Ovarense in Portugal 🇵🇹. Coach Christian has had success in Portugal the past couple of years in roles across; Director of Player Development, Director of Fitness and Data, 1st Asst. Coach and now Interim Head Coach.
As a youth player, Coach Christian grew up in the MLS DC United system before his professional playing soccer career took him to South America. Coach Christian obtained his UEFA B license in Germany.

Congratulations Nik for committing to UC Berkeley for D1 soccer. In 2021, Nik was selected to play for Contra Costa FC in the match against Club America U20. We’re proud of your continued development and success.
