Football isn’t only about what you can do with the ball ⚽⚡

It’s about what you see before you receive it. Understanding space. Reading your teammates and opponents. Knowing when to play quickly, when to slow the game down and making the right decision under pressure.

That’s why developing Football IQ is an important part of our work at PFA.

Through training, game analysis, coaching and competition, we challenge our athletes to understand the game better, not just execute actions.

Because as the level gets higher, thinking faster can be just as important as running faster 🧠😉

EVERY STUDENT HAS A DIFFERENT PATH 🎓🌍

Coming to PFA shouldn’t mean starting your education from zero.

Before each student-athlete begins their academic journey with us, our Education Team looks individually at their previous curriculum, what they have already completed and where they want to go next.

With students arriving from different countries and education systems, we analyse international curricula and help define the academic pathway that best connects their past studies with their future goals.

That might mean continuing towards High School graduation, following a Dual Diploma pathway, preparing for university or finding the right solution for their individual situation.

It’s how we’re able to welcome student-athletes from around the world and help them continue their education while pursuing their football development in Portugal. ⚽🎓
