Our lads have played some genuinely entertaining and attractive football recently and, as coaches, we are very proud to see these fine young footballers taking onboard the training and messages we give them.

Huge thank you to Wren Rovers for hosting our league game this afternoon.

Another competitive game with some impressive defensive and out of possession play, forcing some inventive play to break the deadlock.

On a challenging pitch it was great to see the players continue to try and get the ball down and play football, in what we believe is the correct way.

Some really good performances from lads on both sides including the both keepers who made some outstanding saves.

Huge well done to all of the players involved on both sides.

We have 2 lads recovering from serious injuries and it was lovely to see them both down today supporting their team mates 👏these two lads were given the incredibly difficult decision of choosing the coaches player of the match.

Coaches Player Of The Match #11
No one could argue with the decision of the 2 lads as our #11 was in inspired form yet again. He showed incredible work rate out of possession, some nice link up play and also scored some wonderful goals.

Parents Player Of The Match #19
Showed a brilliant attitude when he came on and put in a very high level “wingers” performance. Positive and direct, always looking to embrace 1v1 situations and in doing so he created some brilliant assists.

A huge congratulations to our #7 who has officially signed for Fleetwood academy.
A tremendously talented player but also a great lad to coach.
We are incredibly proud to have played a small part in his development and are delighted to see him be given this opportunity as we know first hand, how hard he’s worked.
Enjoy the next step in your footballing journey young man.
Go and smash it kiddo 👏⚽️🟠

Huge thank you to Jordan and his FC Ronaldo’s Team for hosting our league game this afternoon.

Another competitive encounter but played in a good spirit.

Some nice football on show along with some well taken goals but also some very good defensive and competitive displays from both teams.

Well done to all of the players on both sides.

Hard to chose a player of the match as there were some very good performances but the awards went to:

Parents Player #4
Showed great tenacity out of possession and poise and composure in possession, particularly when placed in the centre of the park. Also chipped in with a nice headed goal.

Coaches Player #9
Some great finishes today from the young man particularly his 1st where he showed great awareness and finesse.
Worked hard out is possession to deserve his goals and assists and also his player of the match.

Well done all.

Huge thank you to Poulton Athletic for hosting the game today.

Credit to Poulton Athletic who defended brilliantly and countered attacked really well.

We can’t fault the effort of the players today and for large portions of the game, they got the ball down and played the style of football that we ask. Plenty of chances created from good play but unfortunately not quite clinical enough in decisive moments.

Credit to both teams as the game was played in good spirit and we wish Poulton Athletic the best of luck for the remainder of the phase.

Plenty of positives to take from the game as many passages of play were very good but we must capitalise better on situations created.

Well done to all involved.

Huge thank you to Danny and his Springfields team for make the trip over for the game this morning.

A really entertaining game between 2 top teams. Hugely competitive but played in a great spirit with some really nice football on show from both teams and it was great for all for the players to get a good run out.

Thank you to the parents that ran the lines and for all of the parents that gave up their Sunday morning to allow the lads to play.

For our players of the match, there were plenty of options as there were some tremendous performances out on the pitch but we had to decide on 2.

Our coaches player of the match went to our #16. When the game is tight and competitive, you need players that are willing to be brave and get on the ball in tight areas and this lad did this right throughout the game, constantly wanting the ball to build play. A tremendous performance

Parents Player went to our #6. After being away for a while you could clearly see that he’s been putting the work in whilst being away as he hit the ground running. Read the game intelligently and took control of his defensive duals all game. A top defensive display.

A great runout for the lads today at the Blackburn Eagles tournament.

Silver Cup tournament winners. Some great games throughout the day and some really good performances from the lads.

A very good pre-season run out and loads of positives to take from the day.

It was also nice to see the lads just being mates, hanging around together in-between games, we can sometimes forget that is one of the best parts of being in a team.

A huge thank you to all of the parents for their support again and a huge well done to all involved.

All of the players put in great performances no more so than our 2 players of the tournament.

#8 and #10 who were outstanding again all day. 👏🟠⚫️⚽️

Trust the process. The best players get better by practicing and believing that what they can’t do today, they’ll be able to do tomorrow.

Every training session is an opportunity to leave as a better player. 🔥🧡⚽️
