🎭 A little glimpse into my arts & cultural lectures…

For those of you who couldn’t make the lecture — and for those who were there and would like another taste — I’ve put together this 5-minute sample for you to enjoy.

My lectures explore the arts through people, places and cultures, bringing together stories, music, movement and a little audience participation along the way.

If you enjoy the video, I’d love you to subscribe to my YouTube channel. It’s completely free, takes just one click on the Subscribe button, and you’ll be able to discover more of my work as I add it.

Thank you so much for watching and for your support — it really is appreciated.

Here is the mime in text for your learning. Berthes warning to her daughter Giselle end of Act 1 t(he line / in the sentence means these are 2 separate movements ) this is the RB version and taken from the video of Sandra Conley dancing Berthe.

Over there in the dark forest/ Beneath the leaning trees
There is a grave/ here and here
Spirits rise from the ground 2 x
Girls with wings /and veils
They are the wilis
Whats that?
Walks over to the other side of the stage
A man is strolling in the forest/a gentle noble man
he is stopped in his tracks
by the Queen of the Wilis
You here gentleman will dance/You here gentleman will die
Have mercy please begs the gentlemen
But as he dances/he becomes tired exhausted
His heart begins to fail him and he dies
