As the end of summer approaches - and after nearly one year in business - we just wanted to officially announce our closure. It was a dream for us to open a studio but there is a lot of competition in this space, which is good because it means so many people in the Lisbon are are doing yoga! We are grateful for each part of the experience. Thank you very much to our students and to everyone who supported the studio. Allyson + Jenny will see you on the mat, perhaps at a retreat in the future! Although we are switching things up and our focus is changing, it will always include yoga, mindful living and wellbeing.

We are closed for the summer - time for yoga on the beach, in the park and out in nature! See you soon and enjoy summer.

There is always so much to learn about yoga in all its layers: the sequencing, of course, but also the history, proper alignment, modifications of key poses, spirituality, breath work, meditation and more. Happy International Yoga Day!

Proud to be listed as a restorative yoga teacher with www.restorativeyogateachers.com. Thank you Adelene Cheong in London for your inspiration and expertise (www.adelenecheong.com). 🧘‍♀️ 🙏

A pause in a busy day for a mindful walk and the words of a Jay Michaelson meditation from the Ten Percent Happier App come to mind: live in the sky, not the clouds.

Happy World Book Day! We're running out of sticky notes for this one - it's just that good! It's also a good reminder of the need for more yin yoga in a busy world. As the author states, yin is everywhere, which is very gratifying because balance is needed everywhere. 🧘‍♀️ 🕉

Happy Earth Day! 😊 Grateful for the beauty all around us and for all those who remind us just how precious the planet is.

Dropping into the present moment on the beach and creating an opportunity to cultivate calm... it's so relaxing to tune in to the sound of the breath with the sound of the waves. Thank you, Carcavelos beach! 😊 🙏

From a dear friend 🧡: the power of words and mantras to guide our practice 🧘‍♀️ 🕉 and to step 🚶‍♀️into the weekend with calm and ease. Thank you, Juliet!

As seen in a local bookstore... and yes, some days it's harder to move than others, whether we are stiff, injured, tired or simply finding it hard to quiet the mind, but we've got this!!

The senses come alive when we travel. The experience is like what psychologist Alison Gopnik compared childhood to, thanks to rapid thinking and learning: "It's like being in love in Paris for the first time after you've had three double espressos." Let's savor those moments when consciousness expands.
