We are so excited to welcome back Victoria Logan!
This week she returns as our teaching assistant for our 200hr Haṭha + Vinyāsa YTT at SOURCE YOGA | Retreats & Trainings 🪴
Meet Victoria Victoria Logan Yoga : owner of The Yoga Shala Edinburgh in Edinburgh, Scotland, with giant glasses, enormous cosy socks stuffed into Birkenstocks, who accidentally buys a whole rug at the supermarket.
Here’s a few more things we love about her 💛 →
1. Her favourite souvenir from Portugal 🥾
A pair of Portuguese army boots from a surplus store in Lisbon. Everyone thinks they are terrible - Victoria loves them. She still wears them after 10 years.
2. She has opinions, and she’s not afraid to live them ⭕️
Victoria loves a good discussion, especially around philosophy. She’s intelligent and articulate, but more importantly, she’s genuinely concerned with the question: How do we actually LIVE this? 3. She does tricep dips before dinner 💀
Victoria has a daily practice of the niyama of tapas (discipline ✨) in everyday life. During last years 200-hr, this took the form of tricep dips on the stairs before every meal. Her current tapas is doing dolphin dips.
4. Victoria is all the best qualities of fire 🔥
Strong, warming, illuminating, passionate, activating, sometimes “Please Victoria I cannot do another chaturanga”, but never harsh. Outside those classes Victoria is this incredibly warm, gentle, kind person who listens deeply and genuinely wants the best for people.
5. Her non-yoga obsession? 🤠
“Yellowstone! Give me anything with Kevin Costner as a cowboy.”
6. Victoria’s mornings always start with coffee. ☕️
They need to be made correctly (on the hob with a mocha pot) and served hot and black. Then she rolls out her mat out, journal, draw, burn incense, and sit quietly - it’s a really solo and grounding time for her.
7. She can feel as an imposter too. 💗
Here’s this incredibly strong, knowledgeable woman with her own studio in Scotland, whom our students absolutely loved as a teacher. Who initially felt a little impostor syndrome herself when Eva asked her to assist at
