There is wisdom in the way your body wants to move 🦋
In a somatic exploration of downward facing dog, there is no perfect shape to achieve. No movement that needs to look a certain way.
You might bend your knees, sway your hips, ripple through your spine, shift your weight, or simply pause and feel.
Let curiosity guide you.
Notice what feels good.
Follow the small impulses that arise when you give yourself permission to move beyond the familiar.
Sometimes, the most meaningful practice begins when we stop telling the body what to do and start listening to what it already knows.
This is the heart of somatics.
Less performing, more sensing.
Less control, more connection 🙏
