Reading whilst listening! Currently working as A Passive Acoustic Monitoring operator listening for cetaceans (whales) and I'm finding the time and focus to read the Breatheology book by Stig Åvall Severinsen. Recommend as it provides great tools for freediving improvement and also tools to improve our life in general! We have a great tool that we many times don't know how to use it. This tool is breathing. Through breathing we can even heal! I recommend the book and it was freely given during the beginning of the pandemic! Being used at the moment to keep anxiety at bay!!!
Thank you Stig!

No water to add? Then just add yourself and a few available tools to the dry training! All I need is the "me"... the rest is a bonus to help with the training, this training can be done without these tools by just using a watch. Using an oximeter and a mobile phone to visualize and to record the training results. CO2 tables on going during a quarantine at the hotel room... Dreaming with the blue and visualising how comfortable it will be to enjoy the blue after the training!

Indoor wet training is halted due to being called for work. Will have to be absent from the water for 6 weeks. Due to the current CoVid19 pandemic, I also have to be in quarantine before entering a vessel for my 6 weeks work. This is the time to fight a "big enemy" of my life, ANXIETY! It is hard to fight it specially when looking at the rest of the world through the social media or my only hotel window during the quarantine. This will only get harder if we want to, if we make up excuses, if we bend to what we can't control. It is up to me (or us) to make it easier and easier. To take the right steps before, during and after is important! I reckon I've started to take the right steps before and now comes the "during" part! No excuses from now on! Let's get to work! ;) A plan was made and a plan will be followed, no matter what tries to bring us down or makes us lose focus!

When fatigue settles in why push even further? Pushing through when you are fatigued will only force you to make mistakes and have a less correct posture/movement. I've been practicing to correct my posture and movement and at this point I can feel the fatigue so why not take a break, review videos, reflect, connect,... Taking a pause to gain more focus for next time! Clinging on to that feeling of improvement!!!
The pause has to be close to the water!! 😅

Due to the current Covid19 situation and restrictions I don't have many training companions. At the moment these are my companions and thanks to these I've been managing to improve every time I train. There are no excuses and it is time to reinvent our methods! A big thank you to Francisco Bregas for the improvised neck weights,
Gopro mount and for the pointers throughout my daily training. At the moment these are being held at an indoor swimming pool but as soon as I can these will be held in the ocean! I'm still grateful that I can do these indoor training sessions!

My watch reminds me of what time it is whenever I'm in the water... time to be FREE! It is up to us to interpret the positiveness of even the small things. Several van der Waals bonds make a stronger bond, why not take that lesson from the water molecules into our approach? Multiple small positivities make a big difference in our training or even in our life in general! Taking a lesson from below to the surface!
Can't thank enough Francisco Bregas for the pointers!

Emptying my mind as I empty my lungs. Welcoming the discomfort in order to be comfortable with it. Accepting that it is all a process to improve how to deal emotions and feelings. Taking a lesson from below to the surface! Thank you Francisco Bregas for the clicks and the pointers!

That feeling you get from gliding!! It's funny how such a closed environment can give you such a liberating feeling! "Aquacity" session simply to be in the water when I cannot go to the place I love to glide... The Ocean!
Big thank you to Francisco Bregas for the clicks and the pointers! 🙏

The surface overwhelmes me, blurs my focus, shadows my goals... but as soon as I get myself below the surface, things change! A feeling of belonging, a sharp focus and lightened goals! Taking a lesson from below to the surface! ;)
