Recognized internationally as one of the most outstanding dancers of his generation, Rolando Sarabia has performed as a Principal Dancer with The Washington Ballet and appeared as a guest artist with prestigious companies including American Ballet Theatre, Houston Ballet, Miami City Ballet, and the Cuban National Ballet.

Described by The New York Times as “The Cuban Nijinsky”, his artistry, virtuosity, and stage presence have inspired dancers around the world.

A former student of our Conservatory and currently a dancer with the Sofia Opera and Ballet, Samuel has just been awarded the 1st Prize for the Choreography Award at the prestigious HIBC 2026.

This remarkable recognition highlights his creativity, artistic vision, and excellence as both a performer and choreographer on the international stage.

We are honoured to see our alumni achieving such success and representing the next generation of dance artists at the highest level.
