Wednesdays are my day off from the studio.
But this morning my body was feeling so heavy and tired that I knew the only way was to just move....

So today I am saying thank you to myself for not giving up and starting this day with a smooth yoga class.

Reformers - Beginners 🤍🧘‍♀️📍

Swan Studio’s Reformers - Beginners is a calm, confidence-building 50‑minute Pilates Reformer session designed for beginners and clients with low mobility. Small groups (max 4) provide personalised guidance from Tal (English).
Price: €25 per class. Or "Get to Know Us" welcome pack
Location: Rua Fernando Quaresma 3C, Foz do Arelho.

Clients can book online (online booking enabled) and may cancel or reschedule up to 12 hours before the session.
Questions are welcome in the comments - staff will respond.

I kind of miss the mat.
This is where it all started for me, over 10 years ago.

I walked into my very first Pilates class, completely fell in love with it, and not long after, I found myself in teacher training.

In this video you might just see a fast-paced flow. Maybe you even recognize some of the exercises.
But I see something else.
I see precision. I see control. I see concentration. I see breath. I see movement initiated from the center and flowing through the whole body.
These are the principles Joseph Pilates built his method on, and they are still the foundation of every movement we make.

Sometimes it's nice to leave the equipment behind, unroll a mat, and simply let your body guide you. To move through exercises you know, love, and remember, creating a different flow every single time.

Every time I come back to the mat, I am reminded of the girl I was over 10 years ago... the one who started her Pilates journey right here ❤️
