The 8-Week Lower Back Rehab. Doors are opened for Founding Members.
This is the program I’m best known for, and the one I wish every woman with nagging lower back pain could start tomorrow.

Eight weeks. A structured, progressive system that takes your back from “I’m afraid to move” to “I trust my body again.” Short follow-along videos from home. Weekly education so you understand your back instead of just exercising it. A progress tracker. A flare-up protocol for the hard days. And lifetime access, so this becomes your permanent toolkit rather than an eight-week rental.

It’s built for general lower back pain and muscle tension. The morning stiffness, the ache after sitting, the “my back just isn’t what it used to be.” Real rehab logic adapted for real life. No equipment, no gym, about 15 minutes a day.

Right now you can join as a Founding Member, one of the earliest students shaping the community I call The Rehabbers. Founding access comes with conditions that simply won’t exist after the full launch. It’s not a discount. It’s a first-row seat.

If your back has been sending signals for months or years, this is the structured answer.

What rehab from home actually looks like. No waiting rooms. No traffic. No trying to remember what the specialist showed you three weeks ago.

My students open a short video, roll out the mat and follow along, with me explaining what to do, why it works, and how it should feel. That last part is everything in rehab. It’s the difference between an exercise that rebuilds your back and one that just goes through the motions.

Self-paced doesn’t mean alone. It means watching the movement demonstrated properly before you try it. Pausing when you need to. Repeating a week if your body asks for it. Doing your session at 6 am or 10 pm, whenever your life allows.

It also means lifetime access, so a bad month doesn’t send you back to square one. Your program waits for you.

Many of my students tried in-person help first and got real short-term relief. But nobody taught them how to keep their back strong afterwards. That gap is exactly why I built my courses. Not a treatment you receive. A skill you own.

Your back, your schedule, your pace. Expert guidance built in.

The woman with chronic lower back pain who’s afraid to move. The desk professional whose body has taken the shape of her chair. The active woman over 50 who wants to stay strong before trouble starts. The Pilates instructor who wants deeper rehab skills for her own clients.

Different bodies, different starting points. One-size-fits-all was never going to work. Honestly, that’s probably why other programs failed you before.

So I’m building a dedicated program for each of these journeys. Structured, progressive, self-paced. The same clinical logic I’ve used for three decades, filmed so you can follow along at home, at your speed, on your schedule.

The first doors open soon. The women on my email list will hear about it first, with Founding Member access that won’t be repeated later.

This isn’t a “someday” post. The work is happening right now, and I can’t wait to show you.

Your fest is training your back- just in wrong direction.
Eight hours of sitting is a workout. Hip flexors shorten. The upper back rounds forward. The deep core clocks out. And your lower back quietly takes over a job it was never designed to do alone.

Then one day you bend down for something trivial, a sock, a pen, and your back “goes.” It didn’t go in that moment. It had been going for years.

The good news: you can counter-train it, and it takes minutes.

This seated band pull is one of my favorites for desk workers. It wakes up the mid-back muscles that screen time puts to sleep, opens the chest, and reminds your spine what upright feels like. No floor needed. You can do it in work clothes, on your lunch break, on the chair you’re sitting in right now.

Sit tall, band overhead, pull gently apart and slightly behind the head. Slow and controlled. Feel the muscles between your shoulder blades doing the work. 8 to 10 repetitions.

Your back doesn’t need you to quit your job. It needs two minutes of the opposite, a few times a day.

Save this for your next work break. And check my Desk Athlete program, link in bio 💻

The hardest exercise? Unrolling the mat.
If you’ve ever bought a program, done it enthusiastically for four days, then watched the mat gather dust… you’re not lazy. You’re human. And most programs set you up to fail by demanding 45 minutes, perfect conditions and endless motivation.

What actually works for the women I teach:

Keep the mat visible. Rolled up in a cupboard means out of sight, out of spine. Leaning by the sofa is a quiet daily invitation.

Shrink the commitment. “I’ll do 10 minutes” beats “I’ll do the full session” every time. Once you start, you usually keep going. And on the days you don’t, 10 minutes still counts.

Attach it to something you already do. After morning coffee. Before the evening news. Habits stick to habits.

Your back doesn’t need heroic effort. It needs boring, beautiful consistency. The women who heal aren’t the most motivated. They’re the ones who made starting easy.

Be honest, where is your mat right now? Cupboard or floor? 😄

STOP stretching your lower back. Start retraining it. I know, stretching feels amazing. The forward fold, the knee hug, the twist. Sweet relief… for about twenty minutes. Then the tightness comes back. It always comes back.

The reason: your lower back usually isn’t tight because it’s short. It’s tight because it’s overworked. When the deep support system (deep abdominals, glutes, pelvic support) isn’t doing its job, your lower back muscles grip constantly to protect the spine. That grip is what you feel as tightness.

Stretching releases the grip for a moment. But it doesn’t fix the reason the grip exists. So your nervous system reinstates it within hours, because it still doesn’t trust the support underneath.

The fix is retraining. Exercises like this bridge variation teach your glutes and deep core to take the load back, so the lower back can finally stop white-knuckling every movement. When support returns, the tightness lets go on its own. And stays gone.

This is the whole logic behind Rehab Pilates. Women who stretched for years feel the difference within weeks of training differently.

Feels good and fixes it are two different things. Train the cause.

Thirty years ago I started working with bodies in pain. First through rehabilitation, later through Pilates. And somewhere along the way I noticed something that changed how I teach.

The women who got better weren’t the ones who pushed hardest. They were the ones who finally understood their own body.

Back pain had convinced them they were fragile. Broken. “Just getting old.” And the fitness world kept offering two bad options: push through it, or stop moving altogether.

I built Goddu Pilates for the third option. Movement that respects where you are today and patiently rebuilds where you want to be. No fear, no punishment. And please, no “no pain, no gain.” That phrase has damaged more backs than it ever fixed.

My whole philosophy in one line: pain is a signal, not a sentence. Your body isn’t betraying you. It’s asking for a different kind of attention.

The Rehabbers, my community of women rebuilding their backs, prove this every single week.

If someone told you to “just live with it,” stick around. I have a different story for you.

Tell me in the comments: how long have you been living with your back pain? 👇

I’ve taught exercises for 30 years. And I had spinal surgery myself.
Most people don’t know this about me.
For nearly 20 years, I lived with chronic back pain. Tried everything - physio, massage, painkillers, rest. Things would get better for a while. Then they wouldn’t. I kept teaching, kept moving, kept telling myself it was manageable.
Then came the diagnosis. Tethered Cord Syndrome - a rare condition where the spinal cord is abnormally attached and can’t move freely. By the time we found it, there was no other option.
Surgery. Then three years of recovery.
During those three years, movement was the thing that kept me together. Not just physically. On the worst days, having a practice I trusted meant I was still doing something — still working my way back, not just waiting. That distinction matters more than I can explain.
I’m not sharing this to make what I do sound more significant. I’m sharing it because I know what it’s like to be scared to move. To be exhausted from managing pain that nobody around you can see. To feel like your own body has become the problem.
I know that place. Not from a textbook. From living there.
What I teach now isn’t something I found in a course. It’s something I had to rebuild from - and spent 30 years refining with hundreds of people who came to me carrying the same things I once carried.
If you’re somewhere in that hard middle right now - keep going.
Everything I know is in the link in my bio.
