EXCITING NEWS! After a long hiatus, yoga classes are back! From May 2nd, I'll be teaching yoga every Monday night at 6pm at Heden co-work in Rossio :-)

Here are the deets 👇

🧘🏽‍♀️ All levels welcome. Hatha yoga infusion designed to help you build strength, connect with your body, and give your mind a chill pill for 60 mins ;-)

💳 If you're a member of Heden, classes are free. Non-members are welcome to join too (10 euros per class). CASH ONLY

⏰ Please arrive 10 mins before the class, especially if you haven't been to Heden before. Mats are provided.

Hello hello Lisbon yogis!
I know it's been a looooong time. Covid happened, then I lost the palace and I took a break from teaching. I've been getting a few messages about when classes are starting up again and I just wanted to let you know that I'm searching for another special place! I'll update this page with more deets once I find somewhere! Thanks for your support and sorry for ghosting you for so long! 🥰

Boa tarde everyone!! Anyone else struggling massively with productivity this week? 😬It's totally understandable... given what's going on (so go easy on yourself!). But I thought it might be useful to share my secret weapon when I'm having trouble focusing... binaural beats!

Whenever I need to get some serious writing/editing done and my monkey mind is swinging like a wild woman from branch to branch (which is often 🙉!!), I know it's time to sync my brain waves and induce a focused trance!

Here's one of my go-to's 👇 but there are many on youtube :-) Hope this helps if you're having trouble focusing amongst all of the uncertainty and changes in the last few weeks.

What a surreal week it’s been for the entire world as we all settle into this new reality. 🌎
Some people are finding the isolation really tough. Others are worried about losing business and making ends met. And everyone is fearful for their health and that of their loved ones.

Everyone’s struggle is real and valid, so let yourself feel whatever is coming up ❤️ And use this time to nurture yourself as much as you can. At present, we can still go outside and exercise, so try to get some fresh air and sunshine (responsibly). Limit your time spent on social media and checking the news. Eat well. Lend a helping hand (or an ear) to those who are vulnerable, scared and lonely. And look for all the beautiful moments you can, like the solidarity and kindness that is felt around the world.

For those who have been in my classes, I sometimes play a guided meditation in savasana by a wonderful woman called Sarah Blondin. She just recorded the below mediation about hope during this situation. It was just what I needed yesterday morning, I hope it soothes you whenever you’re finding things difficult. CLASS CANCELLATION UPDATE:

Bom dia everyone!

To prevent the spread of any illness, coronavirus 😷 or otherwise, classes are cancelled until further notice.

Please take care of yourselves, use this time to read all those books you've wanted to, or to spend some quality time with your nearest and dearest! Or crack open a bottle of some good Portuguese natural vinho and run a bath! This is all self-care, in my opinion! ;-)

It’s so nice to be back teaching at the palace again! Thanks to everyone who braved the rain and came to practice yesterday. ☔️

Hatha yoga classes are every Tuesday evening at 7pm by candlelight, and Saturday mornings at 10am 🧘‍♀️

These are 90 minute classes, are in English, and take place in a 17th century palace! Beginners are welcome. 10 euros a class or 40 euros for a 5 class pass.

Dasha is filling in for me while I'm away, and completed her RYT 200-hour yoga teacher training in 2017 with Manel Yoga Precision & Flow Yoga in Lisbon.

Dasha teaches all-levels yoga that focuses on connecting breath to movement. In her own practice, Dasha enjoys dynamic sequences and finding new ways to be upside down. Yoga has become an essential part of Dasha’s life that she enjoys sharing with others.

***CLASS UPDATES FOR JAN & FEB***

Olá my soulful yogis! ♥️I've got some class updates for January and February as I'll be going back to Australia for a few weeks, but some fantastic teachers are filling in while I'm away!

I'll be teaching this coming Tuesday (14th Jan) as normal, but starting Tuesday 21st Jan, Alexandra Plummer will be teaching my candlelit class at 7pm, infusing it with her beautiful embodied flow style 🧘‍♀️

And starting Saturday 25th January, Dasha Smith will be teaching the 10am class. Dasha has trained in hatha yoga and teaches a strong and steady flow! 🤸‍♀️

Oh, and some other exciting news! I'll continue to teach in the palace for the next year as renovations have been delayed! Woohoo!!! I'm hoping to introduce a morning class in the warmer months and some workshops too, so stay tuned 😄

In the meantime, here is the schedule while I'm in Oz!
