Belly fat isn’t a calorie problem.
It’s cortisol. Which is insulin. Which is a nervous system stuck in a threat state it never got the signal to leave.
Your body isn’t holding the weight because your diet is wrong. It’s holding the weight because your nervous system is running a background process that says: conserve, store, protect.
No macro split fixes that. No step count fixes that. Regulating the system does.
That’s a different problem. It has a different solution.

This week, three different corners of the internet independently said the same thing.
A psychologist explained nervous system thresholds. A neuroscientist said your habits aren’t failing — they’re just not yours. A wellness founder came back from a major industry gathering saying the biggest lesson wasn’t a biohack. It was the fundamentals.
Three different fields. Same conclusion. Different vocabulary.
We’ve been saying this since 2014 — not because we were first, but because regulation was never the trend. It was the prerequisite the trends kept skipping.
Swipe for what’s actually happening in your prefrontal cortex when you’re “overwhelmed.”

What corporates get inside the Kokorology pack:
1. Bulk seats — Journal, Anchor, L1 course
2. Private by design — you see cohort, never individuals
3. Cohort signal — 8-week regulation trend, sick-day delta, engagement
4. Two onsite options that bolt onto the seats — Playbook + Live Session, or 4-Week Program
The thesis: a benefit they’ll actually use. Five minutes a day, on the phone they already have, with a measurement frame your CFO understands.

Most journals start at the wrong end.
You sit down, anxious. You write the word “anxious.” The page nods politely. Tomorrow you do it again. Nothing changes — because by the time the word arrived, the body had already finished talking.
The Nervous System Journal flips it. Body first. State second. Word last.
Two minutes in the morning. Four signals — jaw, chest, gut, breath. Name the state you’re actually in. Then the prompt arrives, tuned to that state. Not a generic “how are you feeling?” — the right question for the body you’re in.
Seven days is enough to see the line move. Most people watch their night-time spikes drop by a third in week one.
