When the Rain Calls: A Midnight Ride to Bethanchowk

A Pagal Toli Adventure Story

Some journeys are planned. Others simply call your name.

On a rainy evening at around 6:00 PM, the Pagal Toli Adventure Family gathered in the timeless alleys of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Our ride began from the legendary ą¤øą¤¾ą¤ą¤¢ą„‡ Brother Guest House, nestled within the heart of ancient Bhaktapur (Bhatgaun)—one of World's oldest continuously inhabited urban civilizations, where every brick carries centuries of history.

Four riders. Two motorcycles. Every bike carrying a rider and a pillion. Tents, sleeping bags, mats, food, drinking water, first-aid kits, cameras, torches, rain gear, and even disposable bags to ensure nothing but our tire tracks and footprints remained behind.

Rain dripped endlessly from giant trees. Every gust of wind whispered through the jungle. Suddenly, the mountain roared.

A massive landslide thundered somewhere nearby.

The ground trembled beneath our boots as huge trees collapsed into the darkness. Nature reminded us that the mountains are never conquered; they only allow us to pass.

Step by step, soaked to the bone, we continued climbing through the rain-filled night.

At around 12:30 AM, we finally reached Narayanthan.

Hidden among clouds, this sacred hilltop shrine dedicated to Lord Narayan has long been a place where local devotees seek blessings for peace, protection, and prosperity. Surrounded by forests and endless Himalayan horizons, Narayanthan represents the harmony between nature and spirituality. In Badik Sanatan tradition, mountains are considered t

At least separate two weeks or more. You will meet/ understand yourself in between the trip. We shall take you to Suffer Safely in the Himalayas.
At least understand your body elevation, so we can hit the section accordingly.
Look the water from Mt. Kailash, Phaktalung, Kanchanjunga reason and around.
