PORTUGAL VOLLEYBALL FESTIVAL is a youth volleyball event taking place in Lisbon, on 29/30 June 2024. We are excited to welcome you to our beautiful country.

PORTUGAL VOLLEYBALL FESTIVAL is a youth volleyball event aimed at boys and girls in U14, U16 & U18 age groups, to be played in Lisbon, in June 2024. This tournament is a great opportunity for teams from clubs, academies, and schools from all around the world to compete. PORTUGAL VOLLEYBALL FESTIVAL is a fun and exciting competition between different countries, each one with its unique "style" of volleyball. Volleyball has a great tradition in Portugal. The number of athletes, teams, spectators, and digital followers of this amazing sport is growing by the day. It is time to get everyone around a spectacular tournament! Together, we'll grow every year and become a worldwide reference for youth volleyball!

Some connections happen quickly during tournament weekends.
A conversation after a match, a shared laugh while waiting for the next game, a familiar face you keep seeing around the venue. Sport creates these small openings between people who might otherwise never meet.
That is part of the value of an international youth tournament. The volleyball brings everyone together, but the people give the weekend its meaning.

Volleyball has a rhythm that changes from match to match.
Sometimes the game moves quickly, and every rally feels sharp. Sometimes it becomes slower, more tactical, more about patience and decision-making. In a tournament, teams have to adapt to all of it in a short space of time.
That is one of the reasons the Portugal Volleyball Festival feels different from a normal matchday. It asks players to adjust, reset and keep thinking.

There is always something particular about the first serve of a tournament.
For a second, all the travel, preparation and waiting turns into one simple action. The ball goes up, the match begins, and suddenly the weekend is no longer something ahead of you. It is happening.
Those moments are small, but every player knows how different they feel.

The Portugal Volleyball Festival will return to Lisbon on 3 and 4 July 2027, bringing young volleyball teams together for two days of matches, new opponents and a full tournament atmosphere that goes beyond the final scores.

The Portugal Volleyball Festival is shaped by the mix of people who come to it.
Different countries, different levels of experience, different ways of supporting from the bench, different approaches to the game. That mix gives the tournament its personality. It keeps the matches interesting and the atmosphere open.
It is competitive, but it also feels shared.

The next Portugal Volleyball Festival has a date.
On 3 and 4 July 2027, we’ll be back in Lisbon for another weekend of youth volleyball, international teams, competitive matches and all the moments around the court that make this tournament feel so special.
For the teams who joined us this year, this is your invitation to start thinking about your return. For those who followed from a distance, 2027 might be the year to bring your squad to Lisbon and experience it for yourselves.
