Today we introduce you to Julieta Rousseau! 🌸
As a child, the sound of the rattles, the loud steps on the floor and the vibrant colours remained in her memory. Years later she came to know that what she had seen was a Bharatanatyam performance.
(Fun fact: who was perfoming was actually Catarina, when she was just starting to learn this artform and making her debut performance😄)

In 2017 she took her first class, and the complexity, rigour and antiquity of this dance format won her heart. Julieta keeps studying this ancient dance under the guidance of Tarika Valli and has performed at various cultural events, festivals, and shows in Portugal.

Alongside dance, she practises and teaches Jivamukti Yoga.

In her Yoga practice she finds a way to bring attention inwards, and in Bharatanatyam a way to externalise it.
The two together bringing the perfect balance to her life. 🙏
