The Wu Way

I started using traveling as a portal intentionally in 2023.

I go to cities where I barely know anyone. With no role/identity to maintain, the version of me that doesn’t exist anywhere else can surface. The parts of me buried under who I’m expected to be.

Fukuoka was where I rediscovered my love for solitude.

New York was where I stepped into my more audacious self with all the Manhattan energy buzzing through me.

Lisbon was magical but it allowed me to tune more into the magic within me because that’s where the source truly is.

Every trip since 2023 has brought soul connections I never had to go look for. The kind of friendships that have been formed through many lifetimes.

I always return more layered than when I left. Not a different me or “new me.” Just more of me. Travel gives me more room to experiment and play.

This is the work I do with women in my practice every week. You don’t need a plane ticket to access the version of yourself the world hasn’t touched yet. You need access to the state where she’s actually waiting. Hypnosis is one of the fastest ways in.

The Wu Way is the path back to her. Travel is one doorway. But there are so many doorways for you within.

Most people are using the conclusions they made at 8 to write their 40-year-old future.

Because the mind isn’t predicting what’s POSSIBLE. It’s predicting what’s familiar. And it will defend the familiar even when the familiar has never served you just because it FEELS safe.

In relationships, it can look like:
— “I have standards” but you only want the unavailable ones you have to chase because you learned love is earned
— “I just know it won’t work out” about someone you’ve never let get close.
— Staying in the situationship because confusion is less scary than being fully seen

In business, it can look like:
— undercharging and calling it “being accessible” but really you’re just scared to name the price
— freezing right before the launch and telling yourself you need to feel MORE ready
— talking yourself out of the bigger vision and calling it “being realistic.”

But realistic is just another word for familiar. The ceiling isn’t your potential. It’s your brain refusing to render a future it has no memory of.

Here’s how you can start shifting because the future isn’t written at the goal level. It’s written at the unconscious identity level. When you change who you are underneath, your brain gets new footage to build from. The predictions change because the source changed.

You’re not forcing a new goal onto an old identity. You’re becoming someone whose future isn’t a remix of her past. You become the captain & your past no longer gets to call the destination.

YOU do.

What if you’re not actually stuck or cursed. You’re just protecting an identity.

The thing you’ve been saying you’ll do for years is the exact thing that would update who you are. That’s why you haven’t done it.

What the loop looks like:

you want it, you plan it, something comes up or you reach for reasons why you can’t, you don’t move, the wanting comes back. The loop keeps “the woman who’s going to” alive. The minute you actually do it, she dies. Your subconscious treats that like a death. Death of an identity.

When I say make the step smaller, I don’t mean removing things from the to-do list. I mean find the smallest action that moves you even just 1%.

You don’t need to “scale the business.” You need one action today that can act as the first domino of a chain of actions. It could be writing the first word of your new post. Turn on your camera to film your first video. The rest will follow.

The action is the proof & the identity follows.
The loop wants you to stay “someone who’s going to.” Your job is to do the one thing that makes you “the woman who did.”

In the words of Wayne Dyer, don’t die with your music still in you.

So, what is your next smallest step?

You are not your thoughts.

You are not your feelings.

You are the Consciousness observing it all.

Life cracked me open so I could crack the code.

2am. You’re scrolling. Trying to figure out why this chapter of your life is so hard while everyone else’s seems so… effortless.

Maybe it’s a gut-wrenching breakup. Maybe it’s a situationship that wrecked you and you’re questioning everything. Maybe it’s your business taking wayyyy longer to take off and you’re seriously doubting whether you’re carved out for it.

You scroll pasts posts telling you it’s “happening for a reason,” you just need to change the way you think, or you just need to believe harder.

You’ve journaled. You’ve reframed it eight different ways.

And you’re still up at 2am.
Knowing this is happening for a reason is intellectual.
Becoming the woman it’s sculpting is identity-level work.

I felt my breakup coming even before it happened in 2023. Even though I knew it would be extremely hard to grieve over something that felt so safe, a part of me was excited. Excited to meet HER.

The woman writing this.

The one who treats foreign countries like portals and refuses to live a life that requires her to live out a conventional blueprint. She lets her Sag moon roam.
She couldn’t have evolved inside what just fell apart. And her world really did fall apart.

To build HER. Me.

The challenge isn’t separate from your path. The challenge IS your path.

But knowing that doesn’t get you there. Anchoring in HER does.

I caught myself doing this last week. Started planning my Euro summer and immediately did the math on what I’d have to sacrifice to “deserve” it. The work I’d have to do extra hard to “make up for it.”

Is it REALLY okay for me to enjoy life when I haven’t made sure EVERYONE around me is okay?

As I watched my thoughts, I realized: I wasn’t budgeting. I was paying a tax I’d been trained to pay since I was a kid.
The version of me that was always rescuing, always sacrificing, always carrying someone’s emotional load. No exchange could ever just be an exchange. It had to be a sacrifice.

Because I’d be selfish to live for myself.

WHAT A LIE.

The bank account isn’t a sacrifice for joy. It’s an energy exchange because money circulates. Joy is your birthright and life continues.

No martyrdom required.

I’m dismantling the woman who had to suffer to earn the good thing. Underneath, there’s someone who can just… receive. Without the guilt tax.

You don’t need to get better at navigating pain. You’re already a graduate. The work now is learning to receive joy without paying for it in advance.

Can you step into that identity without your unconscious mind pulling you back to old patterns?
