Music at aimara is never just background—it shapes the atmosphere, movement and identity of the space. Every selection carries intention, inviting curiosity while moving away from the obvious.
Many of the artists behind these records never sought mainstream recognition, yet they quietly redefined electronic music, crafting some of the most immersive sonic journeys ever created. It’s an honour to have their work accompany moments of focus, sweat, recovery and introspection within our walls.
These are five tracks from our Weight Studio playlist, connected by a deep dub sensibility—from linear, minimal rhythms that support precision and strength, to fluid grooves that invite mobility and expression.
Plastikman – Pakard
A pioneer of minimal techno, Richie Hawtin proved that space, restraint and precision could be more powerful than complexity. Pakard transforms minimal elements into something deeply physical: razor-clean drums, a grounding sub-bass and evolving synths that invite movement. Less music to hear than architecture to inhabit.
I:Cube – Le Dub
One of France’s most influential underground producers, I:Cube blends house, dub and experimental electronics into timeless grooves. Le Dub breathes through loose drums, deep bass and endless echoes, creating a hypnotic dialogue between rhythm, space and movement.
Bad Channel – A
An anonymous Australian duo whose only release became an underground cult classic. A proves groove thrives on restraint, pairing dry rolling drums with cavernous dub bass and drifting chords in a sound that feels grounded, patient and immersive.
Donato Dozzy – Forma IV
One of Italy’s defining electronic artists, Dozzy merges hypnotic techno, dub and experimentation. Forma IV layers intricate percussion with evolving textures, creating a groove that is meditative, physical and constantly unfolding.
Rod Modell – Avionics
An American pioneer of deep ambient techno, Rod Modell crafts immersive soundscapes where dub and rhythm dissolve into one continuous flow. Avionics drifts through deep chords and weightless atmospheres, suspended in time—spacious, meditative and profoundly immersive.

We believe the space is part of the practice.
Walnut wood. Soft light. Crafted natural materials. Thoughtful sound design.
Every element has been carefully curated to create an environment that welcomes you in, lowers the barriers to movement, and transforms training into an experience.

Sattva is the Sanskrit word for clarity, harmony and balanced awareness. In yogic philosophy, it describes a state in which body and mind are calm, present and deeply connected.
This immersive experience unfolds through a hatha yoga practice. We begin with a hatha yoga session centered on spinal mobility—restoring movement through the spine to improve posture, breathing mechanics and nervous system function. As the central axis of the body, a healthy, mobile spine allows energy to move more freely, supports resilience in daily life and creates the physical foundation for a calmer, more balanced state.
Our morning continues around the table with a thoughtfully designed sattvic degustation, celebrating fresh, seasonal ingredients that nourish the body with the same intention that guided the movement and breath practices.
An invitation to slow down, reconnect and cultivate a state of clarity, balance and presence—on the mat, at the table and beyond.

Join us for an evening with João Macedo – where performance meets purpose.
Training alongside real athletes has always been at the heart of Aimara’s mission. We believe the greatest lessons in human performance come from those who continuously explore the limits of body and mind—and João is one of them.
But this evening goes beyond performance.
Join us for a free 50-minute immersive session with João Macedo—Portuguese big wave surfer, ocean advocate, and President of the Hope Zones Foundation.
We’ll begin with the breathing techniques João uses to prepare, both physically and mentally, for surfing the giant waves of Nazaré. Together, we’ll explore practical tools to improve calm under pressure, nervous system regulation, focus and recovery.
João will then share the story behind Hope Zones Foundation and its vision to regenerate our oceans through science, community and nature-based solutions. Starting in Nazaré, Hope Zones is developing Portugal’s first regenerative seaweed farm—creating a living seaweed nursery that supports marine biodiversity and strengthens coastal communities, with the ambition to inspire similar projects in surf communities around the world.
This evening is also an opportunity to become part of that journey. Anyone who feels inspired will be invited to support the Surf for the Ocean campaign through a voluntary donation in partnership with Conservation International. Every contribution helps grow this work and protect the places we love. SURF for the OCEAN donation link: https://conservation.donordrive.com/teams/Nazare/donate.

If you are a real surfer in Portugal, you know António.
Not because he needed attention, but because his path became impossible not to respect.
Known by many as “The Tiger”, António built his life in heavy water. From becoming Portuguese Junior Champion and 4x Vice Champion, to exploring and pioneering waves around the globe long before surf travel became content for social media. A generation of surfers grew up watching him chase raw, uncrowded energy around the planet with the same classic approach he still carries today.
He became one of the first professional free surfers in Portugal, later receiving multiple XXL Awards nominations and reaching the finals of the WSL Nazaré Challenge paddle event, competing in one of the heaviest arenas in surfing. But maybe even more impressive than charging giant waves was the responsibility he carried behind the scenes for over 12 years as Safety Manager for WSL events, protecting athletes in chaotic and life-threatening conditions where experience is everything.
I first met António during an underwater apnea training at Wave Crushers. Of course, I already knew exactly who he was before shaking his hand. Everybody did.
What always inspired me most was never only the achievements.
It was the way he carried himself through all of it.
Old school. No bu****it.
Classic surfing.
A sea lion.
A devoted father, loyal friend and true waterman.
In a world where surfing sometimes feels more like performance for cameras than connection with the ocean, António reminds you what the culture was really built on.
Proud to have you riding with us irmão.
