The SAFE COMBAT consortium gathered in GijΓ³n, Spain, on 20–21 May 2026 for an important implementation meeting focused on the next major steps of the project.

SAFE COMBAT was proudly represented at the Judo Austria Grand Prix, held from 6–8 March in Linz πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ή.

πŸ“ An information stand allowed athletes, coaches, officials and visitors to discover the SAFE COMBAT initiative and learn more about safeguarding in combat sports.

🌍 With 479 judoka from 59 countries, the event provided a great opportunity to raise awareness about athlete protection within the international judo community.

πŸ‘ A big thank you to the European Judo Union for supporting the promotion of safer sport environments.
