Entries are now open for the largest Summer tournament in the South.

The deadline for entries is June 7th, with newly staggered fees for advance payment (saving £10 per team by end May). 

We welcome senior individuals (we'll allocate you to a team) and senior/junior teams of all levels: beginner, student, mixed teams/groups of friends, as well as of course club teams.

As usual, we will have the BBQ on the go from brekkie, and the bar will be open for teas/coffees and cold soft drinks/beers... alongside the infamous tombola and our fundraising bucket lottery. AND in a tournament-first we'll also have a special - fruit-throwing competition (Chairman Sam's interview has led to this weirdness!!). So put your chosen piece of fruit and some £1 coins in your kit bag!!

Nomads2 working their way up the table as their games in hand finally come to fruition. A strong win against Highbury2, with 10 goals coming from Aiden and Poppy.

Nomads1 put us all through the ringer ending finally on the wrong side of a close 21-22 catch-up, having led the opening period of the game. 9 goals from Libby and Ellis.

Special mention to Hettie and Leila who loved every moment, cheering the team on from the bench! If supporting won games, we'd be top of the league!!

Nomads in Europe!

Today marks the start of Nomads advantage in the KCL Satellite Finals.

The third team lost their away game despite a stronger second half (hoping for some more info from the crew for future games, even the score would do 🤣).

The seconds took a point from London Regional League leaders . Having gone 7-1 up, and with 6 goals from OllieP, they will be disappointed not to have taken both points.

As the first team ramp up their training and get hyped for Lisbon, they and opponents
played in a cracking to and fro game (one up, one down)... Nomads going into half-time with a 2 goal cushion. When the supporters felt they could finally take a breath (as the team took a 6 goal lead), Bristol continued to fightback to within one as the clock ticked down. Nomads found the basket when it mattered walking away the victor (despite a couple of black eyes) in a game they were perhaps considered to be the underdog. The game was a real spectacle for Epsom College visitors from other sports who stopped by.

What a morning!! and played in two cracking matches...the first team took a promising early 2-0 lead ... later falling 6 behind before fighting back in the last 10 mins to very nearly take a point. The second team clearly decided to copycat, falling 4 behind and also fighting back in the last 10 mins, but this time to win courtesy of a cracking long short from one of our junior graduates Phoebe, bringing the Nomads crowd to their feet in celebration. The thirds started slow before picking up the pace ...but a close loss in a high scoring game against SOLO. The fourths had a tough game against a sharp-shooting (and currently top of the league) Trojans third team. Thanks to all those who coached, ran shotclock and reffed today. Looking forward to hearing more about how our juniors got on...

Life be lifing, but finally we get a double bubble win in the London leagues, great win got the 3s with goals from LottieJ ... everyone on the score sheet for the 4s including LottieF and Phoebe. Well done folks...on to this weekend for the squad, with many familiar faces in purple!

Seconds beat Highbury1 (down from the National League and tipped to return), holding their nerves after going 1 down with 4 mins to go, to take the win.

Thirds had a great start to go 4 up, but sadly ran out of steam towards the end.

Next week sees the second team game postponed with three players away in Flanders (good luck to them), matches still planned for 3s and 4s.

Oops sorry for the delay folks. Despite 5 goals from , the first team had a Sunday to forget. We thought the seconds might be heading the same way trailing at a lowly 4-6 half time, but a strong comeback in the second half (winning second half 10-3) saw them come out the victors with four a piece from .forde.9 and and some promising play from our other young players. Nomads 3 battled losing by just one goal,with a missed penalty just before the final whistle to miss out on a share of the spoils.
