Baroque and athletic – can you really have both? Absolutely.
The striking 4-year-old Lusitano stallion “So Chic” is living proof and truly lives up to his name. Due to a veterinary finding that does not affect his performance or quality of life, this is a unique opportunity for this exceptional PSL
Sired by GP stallion Jasmim Plus and out of the renowned Grand Prix bloodlines of Rico, it comes as no surprise that this young PSL combines an expressive walk, an elastic trot, and an uphill, well-balanced canter.
Despite still being a stallion, So Chic is well-mannered in every situation. He is easy to handle in the stable, calm on the paddock, and a pleasure to ride. He is light to the aids, naturally sensitive, and incredibly comfortable to sit, with exceptionally smooth gaits. He possesses the energy and athletic ability required for his future in dressage or working equitation.
Currently standing at 1.61 m (approximately 15.3 hh) and still expected to grow, this baroque stallion has excellent presence and gives the impression of being taller. A true eye-catcher and the perfect combination of classical Lusitano type and modern sport horse qualities.
So Chic has tested negative for piroplasmosis and has a full set of clean X-rays, including neck and back.
Approximately 18 months ago, following an eye injury, he developed a cataract which was successfully treated with surgery. An artificial lens was implanted, and he has regained normal vision. The only ongoing requirement is one application of eye drops per day. Cosmetically, the eye shows only a very subtle change that is noticeable only upon close inspection and is generally not visible.
