You’ve been so good at holding everything.

The business. The relationship. The people who need you.

So good that you forgot you’re on the list too.

That flat feeling makes sense. Nobody sparkles on empty.

I know.

At the beginning of this year I realized something needed to change.

So I started prioritizing FUN.

I took pottery classes.

Booked a facial at 11am on a Wednesday.

Planned 1 thing to look forward to every day. Then scheduled my work around it.

Rented out my apartment and went to Zanzibar to volunteer.

I had to force myself at first.

Somehow fun didn’t come naturally anymore.

But slowly, I’m starting to feel my spark coming back.

Next week, do one small thing that is only for you.

Useless. Unproductive. Fun.

Somewhere along the way, replying fast became a virtue.

Always reachable.

Always “on”.

Always the one to volunteer to do more.

I asked Claude to roast my Instagram. It said three things I had completely overlooked (as someone who’s been teaching Instagram for 10 years! 🫣)

Here is the prompt, so you can do it to yourself (SAVE this post so you don’t lose the prompt):

PROMPT 1 (you’ll need the Claude Chrome extension for it to access your posts and insights)

“Analyze my Instagram posts from the past 60 days.”

🤓 The analysis can take 10-15 mins, it’s worth the wait!

PROMPT 2

“Now audit it. I want the reasons someone likes a post of mine and still does not follow me.

Sort my posts into pillars based on what they actually are. Tell me which pillar earns a follow and which one only earns a like.

Then find every pattern costing me follows. However many there are. For each one, quote the post that proves it and give me one fix I can make this week.

Do not be encouraging. If you cannot point to a specific post, do not make the claim.”
