You already now the goal is to stabilise the pelvis as much as possible from your deep muslces.

An option can be to use your hands on your pelvis to have some feedback how stable it is.

If you try the version with the leg up also notices if the pelvis goes through any unstable moments. If yes go a little slower and see how your core and breath can support the movment.

If you have dificulties to lift the pelvis out of the floor, go a step back and make sure that you have full control rolling down and up because you need the flexibility of your spine together with the strenght of the core. Another support could be an overball under your sacrum.

If the position of your head on the floor is uncomfortable for your neck feel free to put an overball or a towel under your head. Check when you put it under your head that it is really on the back side of your head and not in the neck.

For the saw keep your pelvis stable as in spine twist and also here if you are not yet able to stretch you legs completly slightly bend them.

Check before you do this exercise that you already are able to roll down vertebra per vertrebra. Roll only until your shoulderblades and keep the whole time the c-shape and then enjoy the nice back massage.
