PORTUGAL SITUATION REPORT TUESDAY 30TH JUNE 0900 HRS
Good Morning to the last day of June in lovely Portugal!! This is the last day of ´Calamity´ hopefully for us all in our lives and tomorrow we will enter a Situation of ´Alert´. Of course, this will depend upon our collective continued responsible response to the pandemic in Portugal – we sincerely hope that the populace remains so responsible as they have shown so far (apart from some exceptions that we reported upon yesterday) and we do not have to go back to any lock-down regulations.
As we are transitioning to a Situation of Alert, SCP think that this is the time for us to look to the future and address a number of very important strategic operational and tactical measures that we can provide added value to our International community and also provide assistance with our resources to government, police, safety and security agencies given the experience of our advisors.
Note from David Thomas
This is Chris Stretton’s last day regarding the morning report. I would like to thank Chris Stretton for his excellent and professional daily input over the last 4 months. This is a challenging commitment as he clearly stated for all of us, but one that is necessary.
A month ago we reviewed the work with Chris focusing on the Introduction and myself collating the report itself with input from our dedicated and hard-working volunteers.
The latest change will allow more efficient use of our available time and allow more focus on our other priorities which Chris has outlined. The Daily Reports will continue as before and we will review again in July depending on the situation at the time. More of this shortly.
