Mais uma etapa, mais um degrau embora difícil e demorado mas só posso dizer que foi merecido. Subi de nível para G2 mas apenas representa ainda mais responsabilidades, perante os meus alunos, perante o diretor, perante a IKMF.

Born in Haifa, Israel, Tamir Gilad served in the IDF, Israeli Defense Forces, in the artillery regiment, where he was also in charge of a unit of seventy soldiers. That was where he first got in touch with Krav Maga. Back in 1987, during the army services, Eyal Yanilov was one of Tamir´s teachers. He trained also a lot with Gabi Noah in his Gym and also with Eli Ben Ami and Zev Cohen. Also he was trained together with Dori Nemetsky and Amnon Darsa and he traveled a lot around the world with them together. Today he is an Expert Level 5 Instructor, the highest Krav Maga level possible, also head of our Testing Committe!
Asking, what Krav Maga means for him, Tamir explains: “Actually it was love at first sight. It is a way of life. It is not just about teaching people, using it by myself or encouraging others, it influences everything. I have children and when they are playing next to the road, it sets off my self-defense-alarm. Danger in general is so much clearer to you. Every way of life can be prevented by Krav Maga.”
