What to say about .challenge?? He worked really hard to do this!
When we started he couldn't swim... Thomas made an 70.3! He JUST had to WORK Hard, ask for help and trust the process! So glad that he trusted me... And makes me a better coach every day! He's the kind of guy that pulls you up! Always with good vibes in every workout we do... And never say no to anything!
Has a busy life... But found the balance between family... Work... Training! That's what you need to accomplish your goals in triatlhon!
Looking forward for the next chapter! Let's goooo 🔥

The key to successful performance in any sport is to recognize the early warning signs of rising stress levels.
Triathletes then need to take immediate action to bring stress levels down before the body screams at them for attenttion.
Each person typically has characteristic pattern in the response to stress. What system in the body overcats to pressure?
Do triatlhetes notice any of the following reactions?
Triatlhetes should rate themselves on each of the reactions listed on a scale of 1 to 10 (being 10 the highest or worst) by putting a number next to each sympton.
Triatlhetes should know their individual responses to stressful situations such as competition and begin doing relaxation exercises before the symptoms get out of hand.

Despite the fact that maximal efforts of 30 seconds, in duration generally are considered anaerobic, repeated efforts os this duration or shorter become increasingly aerobic. Investigators have shown that repeated maximal efforts of 5 to 30 seconds in duration beome primarily aerobic largely because of the reduced contribution from glycolytic and glycogenolyc metabolism. In fact, after ONLY 3 MAXIMAL EFFORTS OF 30 SEC. IN DURATION with 4 MIN recovery, the total anaerobic contribution during the 30" effort is reduced to less then half and aerobic metabolism accounts for approximately 60% of total energy provision, wich makes them, by definition, AEROBIC.
So, altough anaerobic training may not seem appropriate for an endurance sport such as triatlhon, regardless of the distance, some foundational evidence supports the potencial benefits of this type of training to aerobic performance!

One of the biggest mistakes from endurances atlhetes is to take carbs, reduce carbs in a persuit of the perfect weight... that perfect weight is only good when you have your fitness with you!
You feel strong! You feel fast! you feel that you can keep up that pace for all the event!
that´s fitness!
And the relationship from carbs and endurance is very very strong!
don´t just take carbs out from your diet because you want to become faste and/or lighter!
