Another great day now with Richard and Jason going on 2 from 4 blue marlin (500 and 450 pounds), rasing another one that just unclipped the rigger and saw 5 more free feeding at the surface.

Plenty of bait and birds working on top of the marlins again today. We got the first bite just upon arrival at the bank, but fish took just few meters of line out and no hook-up. The next bite was followed by the release of a 500 pounder for Richard and next a 450 pounder for Jason. We kept seeing free feeding blue marlin on mackerel during the day and managed to get another 2 hook-ups but pulled the hooks during the fight.

Pretty cool day with every single boat that was on the bank releasing some marlins. Pretty work guys!

Top lure again was the Bonze Lures Submission getting 4 bites today 🔥

!!!EPIC DAY!!! Lucky charm Guilhermo joined Brett and Fernando for their last day and we went 6 for 8 on blue marlin (2 x 500, 2 x 400, 300 and 250 pounds), plus another 2 or 3 knock downs, saw another 2 or 3 free feeding and 1-1 on bluefin tuna (800+ pounds)!!!

Went straight to the same spot as yesterday and things looked pretty calm. During the whole morning we only had a knock down on one of the shorts, but everything changed just after lunch! Spotted the birds and the bite was literally ON FIRE!!!🔥🔥🔥
Every time we were going through the birds we were hooking marlins. So much bait tight up close to the surface. Damn!!
I got a bit lost with all the bites, but I think we started with a double, then two singles, another double with a third fish following another lure all the way to the boat, another single and finish it off with another double. COMPLETELY CRAZY! And to finish it off, on the way back we hooked up and released a giant 800+ pounds bluefin tuna. UNREAL!

Deceiver found some big marlin (700+ pounds) close to the shore as well. Great news!

Fingers crossed these fishes will stick around for a little bit!!!

As always the top marlin lure was the Bonze Lures Submission while the bluefin fell again for the tuna magnet WolfPack Tackle Ahi Head Pro with the ballyhoo zip rig!

Great to be back to marlin fishing today with Brett and Fernando going on 2-2 on blue marlin (650 and 600 pounds) and saw one more 600+ as well.

Perfect weather with dead calm sea and wind today. Arrived at the bank and things were looking good with good bait around. Hooked up the first fish after a bit giving us a nice air show close to the boat. Released it in great shape and soon after another one show up on the teaser. Got the teaser out and the fish kept following the boat literally 5 meters from the propellers. Pitched a lure and hooked up right away. The fish kept swimming towards the spread and also ate the left long! Crazy, not the first time we have a marlin eating two lures, but it is always cool!

The activity slowed down after lunch, but we raised another nice fish (600+ pounds) that knocked down the long right, missed it the again on the second time and never came back!

As on the previous days, yesterday we spotted the birds and marked plenty of bluefins but could not make one bite. Left the area and went to the bank looking for marlin. Things were looking pretty good out there with gorgeous warm blue water, plenty of bait and birds but we did not raise any marlin. On the way back to the harbour, we spotted the birds again and got tight right away in this very stubborn giant bluefin!

Today, despite the tuna activity in the morning, we totally focused on marlin. We were the only boat fishing on the bank and the bait moved since yesterday. After finding it, we pounded the area and finally hooked up on a 600+ blue marlin on our marlin magnet Bonze Lures Submission, but unfortunately pulled the hook! Damn!

700 pounds bluefin tuna for Louis yesterday! This giant has a second dorsal so big that competes with the beautiful yellowfins. Crazy!

Today we caught another giant bluefin for Carlos but we will do the report tomorrow as we arrived pretty late due to a late bite!

Another day at paradise. Saw 4 blue marlin going 1-2 on them (600 pounds) plus 1-1 on bluefin tuna (700 pounds).

Third day in a row catching blue marlin and bluefin on the same day and area. So cool!

Started the day finding the birds and hooking up a giant bluefin tuna. Louis jumped on the chair and caught his first ever bluefin breaking his previous fishing weight record by almost 10 fold! 🤪 The activity slowed down and we went looking for blue marlin. Had one on the teaser but no bite and soon after we hooked up and released a 600 for Stephane. His first blue marlin ever!
Lines back in and we hooked up again on a 300 pounder blue marlin for Carlos but pulled the hook on the jumps. On the way in we had another blue marlin that knocked down the sh***un but vanished.

Nice day out again! Fingers crossed it will stay like that for a “little longer”! 🤞
