Too soon to talk about 2027?
Never.
Over the past 3 years every one of our Porto retreats has sold out.
So this year, we’re doing things differently.

After another fully booked season in 2026, we listened, and decided to early release our 2027 dates.

Of all the retreats I curate, Porto holds a particularly special place in my heart. It has been my home for the past nine years, and I’m beyond excited to share everything I love about this magical city with you.

Think riverside sunsets, winding cobbled streets, colourful azulejo tiles, fresh pastéis de nata, shared plates of tapas ..

ROAM PORTO
27–31 May 2027

Together, we’ll move, explore, reflect, rest, and create space for meaningful connection, personal growth, and a little adventure along the way.

✨ What to expect:
• Morning yoga and meditation to begin each day with intention
• Nourishing Ayurvedic brunches made with seasonal, locally sourced produce
• A Made in Porto shopping experience, discovering independent stores, local makers, and the creative heart of the city
• An immersive Art & Food Walk, connecting with Porto’s culture, creativity, and culinary delights
• Plenty of free time to wander cobbled streets, sit by the river, browse local markets, or simply rest
• Uniquely curated goodie bags and take-home practices to help you continue the journey long after the retreat ends

As a thank you for being part of this community, I’m offering a 10% early bird discount to the first four people who book.

If you’ve been craving a chance to slow down, reconnect, and experience Porto through the eyes of someone who knows and loves this city deeply, I’d love for you to join us.

How beautifully complex and revealing is Sanskrit!? 💫

I once heard on a podcast that the world would be a better place if more people practised Abyhanga. I can’t speak for the rest of the world, but I can 100% confirm that my ‘inner’ landscape is a far more harmonious place since I introduced warm oil massage into my life ❣️

There really is no greater expression of self-love than anointing yourself from head to toe in warm nourishing oil … simply dreamy …

Although it may sound time consuming … and tedious (covering the entire body in oil is not a practical part of anyone’s daily routine!), as with anything, break it down into sizeable chunks. I have a bottle of oil on my desk at work to massage into my hands for when the cold hits and my knuckles hurt from being on the computer all day, I use coconut oil on my hair once a week (night in) and rub some calming oils onto my chest and bottoms of my feet just before bed.

These small habits not only feel like tonic for the body, but they are also incredibly grounding, helping calm the mind & ease anxiety.

Enjoy the feeling of having nourished your body, mind and spirit and carry that with you throughout your day… pure medicine…

The journey of Ayurveda is that of Self Study.
It takes time to peel back the layers and get the clarity.
You need patience, but if you are willing to put the time and work in it's an amazing journey 💫

Be easy with yourself,
love and accept where you are right now,
you are exactly where you need to be.

I believe one of the most transformative benefits a regular yoga practise brings is Space
Space within the muscles and joints of our physical body,
Space within the breath through the expansion of our lungs and of course Space in our minds through quieting our thoughts and becoming more present.

During class I often instruct students to ‘create more space’ – between the shoulders and ears, between the collar bones, in the chest when we breath, all helpful cues for finding expansion within our physical practise.
But how might this concept of creating space play into our lives off the mat?

Perhaps the most subtle way yoga helps create space is within our thinking.
Taking the time to focus and breathe deeply helps us return to clarity and calmness. Looking at challenging situations through this lens helps us easily identify actions and priorities which then lead to better, more efficient use of time… (creating space)

Of course, some of us have more time to practise yoga than others – but even if you can work 10 mindful breaths into each day you will be surprised at how much space those 10 breaths help create. With regular practise we find this space more easily … at this point the world just becomes a little simpler …

Wishing you a week full of Space & Ease

Last week I hosted a retreat in Porto, and it ended up being one of the most rewarding experiences 💫 The energy was warm from the moment people arrived; a group of strangers slowly settling into something shared.

But what everyone didn’t see was what happened in the days leading up to it.

It was my first solo retreat since becoming a mum, and beneath the excitement sat a steady undercurrent of doubt. Would I have the energy? Would the sleep deprivation show? My yoga practice certainly doesn’t look the same as it did pre-pregnancy… would I still be able to hold the space in the way I wanted to? 🫣

My instinct was to override the doubt, to remind myself that I’d done this many times before and that everything would be fine. But the more I tried to settle the worry, the louder it became. Then, the day before the retreat began, I stopped trying so hard to change it. The worry was still there, but I no longer felt the need to wrestle with it.

And when the moment came, I stepped onto the mat, felt the room, looked out at warm, smiling faces, and something very simple became clear: everything I needed was already there ❣️

Not because I had conquered the doubt or transformed it into confidence, but because the years of teaching, learning, and holding space had already left their mark. Beneath all the noise, I knew what to do.

I think this is something many of us do without realising. We question ourselves when we enter a new chapter. We search for reassurance that we’re still capable, still ready, still enough.

But often the wisdom we’re looking for is already there. The work we’ve done remains with us. Growth doesn’t disappear simply because life changes shape.

Sometimes the hardest part isn’t learning something new. It’s getting out of our own way long enough to recognise what we already know and maybe that’s the practice.

Trusting that beneath the noise, beneath the doubt, there is something deeper that already knows the way. ✨

When I worked in corporate, I often felt like fitting in meant leaving parts of myself behind — what Angel calls “a crossroads of belonging.”

It wasn’t until I began studying Ayurveda & Yoga that I started to understand what True Community really means: a space where you can arrive fully as yourself...

“The closer you are in relationship to yourself, the more you will generate connection with people that allow for you to be who you are.” ❣️

Last week on our Porto retreat, I watched this unfold, 8 solo female travelers came together, opened up, connected deeply, supported one another & created their own little “True Community” — It was magical to witness 💫

Wishing you a wonderful week of True Connections and Community ☀️
