PEDRO FIGUEIREDO CONTINUES HIS STRONG RUN ON THE ROAD TO MALLORCA

Another excellent result for Portuguese Pedro Figueiredo, who secured a solid 4th-place finish at the Challenge de España, played at the beautiful Isla Canela Links in Andalucía.

With a total of 270 (-14), Figueiredo finished just three shots behind champion Ryan Van Velzen and strengthened his position in the Road to Mallorca Rankings, where he now stands 9th. In 14th place in the rankings is Tomás Gouveia, who unfortunately missed the cut this week.

RICARDO MELO GOUVEIA SHINES IN AUSTRIA AND ADVANCES IN THE RACE TO DUBAI RANKINGS

Ricardo Melo Gouveia achieved an impressive runner-up finish at the Austrian Alpine Open, played at Golfclub Kitzbühel-Schwarzsee-Reith.

With a total of 264 strokes (-16), Gouveia finished two shots behind winner Kota Kaneko and climbed 18 places in the DP World Tour Race to Dubai Rankings to reach 26th position.

This performance highlights the consistency and development of Portuguese golf professionals in major European tours and tournaments.

COSTA BALLENA TAKES CENTER STAGE FOR SPAIN'S SENIOR WOMEN'S AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP

From 29 to 31 May, Costa Ballena Golf in Cádiz will host the 2026 Spanish Senior Women's Amateur Championship, welcoming many of Spain's leading players for three days of top-class competition on the Atlantic coast.

With defending champion Macarena Campomanes heading a strong field, the tournament is part of the Real Federación Española de Golf (RFEG) calendar and once again highlights the course as one of Spain's premier golf venues, renowned for its generous fairways, sea breeze, and remarkable Andalusian setting.

THE OPEN DE PORTUGAL RETURNS TO PGA AROEIRA LISBOA

Thirty years after welcoming some of the greatest names in golf, PGA Aroeira Lisboa is set to host the Open de Portugal once again.

From 17 to 20 September, one of Europe's most historic tournaments returns to the renowned PGA Aroeira No.1. First played in 1953 and part of the inaugural European Tour calendar in 1972, this leading event on the Federação Portuguesa de Golfe calendar continues to unite tradition, competition and the future of the game.

This year, it is part of the HotelPlanner Tour, with 156 players competing in one of the most picturesque settings near Lisbon.
