The 49er world championship ended yesterday. Our final ranking the event is P62.

It has taken a bit off time to collect our thoughts, unfortunately a difficult opening day and then capsizes in 2/3 windy races meant we ended the qualifying series in bronze fleet. That being said, we made the most of the final series to sharpen some racing skills!

Having had a solid preparation and good feelings on board during the leadup, it is hard to shake the feeling that we didn’t show our level this week. We’ll take the next few weeks to regroup and reset for the second half of the season! We know what we’re capable of, and we’re determined to show it before the season is over.

Worlds start tomorrow and we are ready to go🙌 follow us for more information on tracking and results! Let’s go Canada🇨🇦

Wrapped up the first grand slam of the year in 50th position. Exactly mid fleet with 100 teams competing.

This event was all about sharpening some points in preparation for the World Championship coming up in one month. Definitely feels like things are moving in the right direction. After a short break, we are straight into our final preparation onsite in Quiberon France.

Nous avons terminé le premier Grand Chelem de l’année en 50e place. Au beau milieu du classement, parmi les 100 équipes en compétition.

Cette compétition était l’occasion de peaufiner notre technique en vue des Championnats du monde qui auront lieu dans un mois. On sent clairement qu’on avance dans la bonne direction. Après une courte pause, on reprend directement notre préparation finale sur place à Quiberon, en France.

Wrapping up a solid winter training period in Vilamoura✅

- 29 days on the water in the first 2 months of the year!

We ended with the Portugal Grand Prix which was a good warm up event for the season with 50 teams competing. We had a solid start to the event sitting at the front end of the leaderboard which is always rewarding. However we had a challenging second half which leaves us with many lessons and points to work on for the first Grand Slam of the year at the end of March.

Nous avons conclu cette période avec le Grand Prix du Portugal, une bonne préparation pour la saison, avec 50 équipes en compétition. Nous avons bien commencé la compétition en nous classant parmi les meilleurs, ce qui est toujours gratifiant. Cependant, la deuxième moitié de saison a été plus difficile et nous laisse de nombreux enseignements et points à améliorer en vue du premier Grand Chelem de l’année, fin mars.
