Qualificação da Taça Quinta do Peru 2026

A jornada de qualificação para a Taça Quinta do Peru 2026 ficou marcada pelo desafio constante imposto pelas condições climatéricas. O vento que se fez sentir ao longo de todo o dia exigiu aos 58 jogadores em campo uma gestão estratégica rigorosa e uma resiliência invulgar.

Num dia em que cada pancada foi disputada, Rita Spachtholz destacou-se pela sua consistência, terminando no topo da classificação com 68 pancadas net. A fechar o pódio desta fase estiveram Mário Novaes Moura (69) e Gregory Mark Morelli (70), numa demonstração de que a paciência foi a melhor aliada frente às dificuldades do percurso.

Concluída esta etapa de Medal Net, estão apurados os 16 jogadores que irão agora enfrentar a fase eliminatória. F**a para trás um dia de golfe exigente, que serviu de antevisão à intensidade que se espera nos próximos embates de Match Play.

Taça Quinta do Peru 2026 Qualifiers

The qualifying round for the 2026 Quinta do Peru Cup was defined by the relentless challenge of the elements. With strong winds persisting throughout the day, the 58 competitors were forced to rely on tactical discipline and mental toughness.

In a session where every shot was hard-earned, Rita Spachtholz led the field with a remarkably consistent net 68. Rounding out the top positions were Mário Novaes Moura (69) and Gregory Mark Morelli (70), proving that patience was the ultimate asset against the day’s testing conditions.

With the Medal Net phase complete, the top 16 players have secured their places in the knockout stages. This demanding opening day sets the tone for the high-stakes Match Play rounds ahead.

On April 11th, Quinta do Peru members face the 18-hole challenge in the qualifying round for the Taça Quinta do Peru.

The competition will be played in the Medal Net format and the top 16 results will qualify for the Match-Play stage.

From 4 to 6 June 2026, Quinta do Peru Golf & Country Club will welcome 144 of Europe’s finest mid-amateur players (90 men and 54 women) for three days of world-class golf, in an atmosphere filled with passion and fair play. 🌟

The next editions of the European Mid-Amateur (25+) Championships will be contested for the second consecutive year at Quinta Do Peru Golf & Country Club in Portugal 🇵🇹

144 of the continent’s best mid-amateur players (90 men, 54 women) will tee it up in the picturesque Setúbal region from 4 to 6 June next year 💪
