Journal Prompt:
What does success feel like in my body?
No fixing.
No judging.
Just noticing.
This is the kind of reflection I built into my Yoga Journey Journal—because awareness doesn’t need pressure to work.
Success can be felt, not measured. These prompts explore that.

7 Ways To Know You’re Progressing In Yoga (that have nothing to do with flexibility)
1. You find yourself feeling less like a block of wood in your daily life
2. You find yourself using breath to regulate emotion
3. Traffic jerks send you into less of a spiral
4. You miss class when you have to skip a week
5. You find yourself checking in with your body in “real life”
6. You have a firm grasp on where your body is in space and where your limbs are in relation to it
7. Trying one type of yoga has you curious to try more

Yoga Philosophy You Can Use In Daily Life
Tapas (steady effort toward a goal)
Gentle discipline still counts.
If you need permission to go slower, here it is.
Yoga philosophy doesn't ask for more effort; sometimes it asks for less.
Save this for later. You don't have to act on it today.

Journal Prompt:
How would my practice change without comparison?
If you feel like yoga spaces weren’t built with you in mind, try journaling instead of forcing movement.
This approach is woven through every page of my Yoga Journey Journal.
You don’t have to perform here.

What you can expect in your first class with me - no matter what the class description says
Starting with a couple questions ... How is your body feeling today? How are you feeling today?
Taking the first few minutes of class to ground ourselves into the room and prepare our nervous systems for practice
Breathwork. Always.
Body autonomy. Something not working for you today? Skip it.
Collaboration. My classes are a conversation, not a performance. Not sure what you’re supposed to be doing or feeling? Tell me. We’ll figure it out together.
And finally ... good relaxation at the end. If you leave my class feeling more relaxed than when you walked in that door, I consider it a successful class.

Yoga Philosophy You Can Use In Daily Life
Tapas (steady effort)
Consistency beats intensity.
Yoga doesn't ask you to improve yourself; it asks you to relate to yourself differently.
That's a quieter practice, but a powerful one.
Save this and come back when you need the reminder.
