Qatar Sailing & Rowing Federation (QSRF) was formed in May 2003. QSRF receives an annual grant from the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC).
The main aim of the Federation is to ensure the implementation of the Olympic Charter and promotion of the sport of Sailing, Rowing, Canoeing, Kayaking and Kiteboarding in the State of Qatar. QOC is also responsible for providing funds for training of all athletes and the expenses of participating of the Qatar National Team at National and International Level. The Organizing Committee of Qatar Sailing & Rowing Federation has announced to organize Qatar Optimist Cup 2014. Attractive prizes for the winners and participants have been planned. This event is scheduled to be held from 27th December 2014 to 2nd January 2015 which will be our annual event.
Competitors from all around the world are welcome to participate in this event.
