Something amazing happened last night, and it is one of the highlights of my career.

I was awarded the IAB's Service of Excellence for brand leadership at Mortgage Solutions Financial.

I have always believed that great companies sculpt great people, and vice versa. During my time at Mortgage Solutions, I can distinctly remember times when there has been a call to courage and a call to trust in moments when everything in your body wants to do the ‘usual thing’. And yet, time after time, this company has humbled me with their trust and their adaptability. I owe so much to the leadership in this company, past and present, for their faith in our symbiosis. And for their ability to put up with a creative type in their bullpen!

It’s no secret that I have been a die-hard IAB fan for a very long time. Standing on that stage with industry heavyweights like Scott Howe and Jeff Ratner, being presented the award by people I consider my mentors like Sheryl Goldstein and David Cohen…is a pinnacle of personal joy for me.

No matter how long I do this, I am always learning. I am always the student. And THAT is what makes me feel so complete in this moment.

Thank you so much for this award and this honor. It has set an impossible bar for 2026.

This was truly a historic World Championship tour. We had so many firsts, its hard to keep track of them all. Emotions were high. The racing was at the highest caliber we have ever seen. And many titles came which were years in the making.

Thank you for a beautiful Aquabike year. Congratulations on your wins. I already cannot wait for the 2026 season!
