The Doha Dragons dragon boat team is all about fitness, fun, friendship and racing. We are a diverse group of men and women of different ages, from different nations and with a variety of backgrounds. No equipment is needed, paddles and life jackets are provided. Paddling sessions are scheduled several times per week:
- Friday - usually around sunrise depending on season
- Tuesday - at least an ho

After almost five weeks without training, we finally got back together 💪🐉
Not on the water just yet… but a “water training without the boats” — and it felt GOOD! 🌊🔥

This is just the beginning of a new chapter. We’re building back, getting stronger, and preparing to return where we belong — on the water.

Because one thing about the Doha Dragons… we never give up.
We’re a family that loves being together, staying active, and sharing every moment on and off the water. 💙

Now is the perfect time to join us — before the summer kicks in! ☀️

It’s already been a week, but the adrenaline is still pumping through our veins! 🐉🔥
Last weekend, we competed in the first DBRQ International Dragon Boat Race in Lusail, Doha, Qatar, and what an event it was!

Across 16 races over two full days, our team pushed harder than ever. We may not have brought home a gold medal (yet!), but we are climbing the ranks, getting faster, stronger, and more united as one team. 💪
We even made it to a final and beat our own records — huge achievements we are incredibly proud of.

And we’re not stopping!

📅 This Friday, 5th of December, we’re racing again in the QDBA Community Local Race, ready to bring the fire back to the water. 🔥
After that, we set our eyes forward…

2026 is coming with bigger goals, more races, and even more dragon power.
