Gaod Dragon Boat Team We are OFWs in Qatar who formed the team on November 2014. We want to live a happy and healthy life.

The organization has been running for a year and a half now and has over 50 members – newbies and professionals - join and come along our 2-4 days/week training at the Katara Beach, some for fun and leisure, but most come with commitment to train hard in preparation for international competitions lined up this year. Team members are encouraged to train hard, compete to his / her best ability, respect competitors and simply have fun and be fit and healthy.

When one paddler struggles, we encourage. When one grows, we celebrate. When one falls behind, we paddle harder together.

Our goal is not just to win races, but to become better athletes, stronger teammates, and better versions of ourselves every single day.

Keep showing up. Keep pushing forward. Keep believing in the team beside you.

Because champions are not made on race day alone, they are made in every training session, every sacrifice, and every moment we choose not to give up.

🔥 Train with purpose. Paddle with passion. Grow together. Win together.

One team. One rhythm. One goal. One unstoppable spirit! 🚣‍♀️❤️💪
