7 Swords HEMA Bucuresti

Sambata seara, in jurul orei 21:30, am incheiat cea de a 3a editie a Midsummer FightNight. O editie care pe care am tinut sa o facem si anul asta chiar daca ne aflam in plin sezon de concerte, festuri si concedii ca sa nu mai mentionam celelalte turnee HEMA care au avut deja loc cu o saptamana si chiar 2 in urma.

Am vrea sa multumim in primul rand tuturor voluntarilor nostri fara de care acest eveniment nu s-ar fi putut desfasura !! Thanks for being awesome!!!

De asemenea multumiri si prietenilor nostri de la Iron Will HEMA Academy care sunt mereu acolo langa noi fie ca este vorba de organizat evenimente, voluntariat sau getting a crew together sa participam la turnee interntionale sau locale.

Spre deosebire de primele 2 editii, anul acesta am avut doi sponsori, Kvetun Armoury & Sparring Gloves, carora dorim sa le multumim pentru ca ne-au ajutat sa oferim de data aceasta ceva tangibil concurentilor dar si pentru contributia lor incontinua la dezvoltarea scenei HEMA de pretutindeni ❤

Cu toate ca a fost o zi de vara calduroasa, a fost oarecum mai respirabil ca la precedentele editii, asa ca anul acesta caldura (34C avute la ora startului) nu a rapus pe nimeni iar standul cu limonada si-a facut datoria.

On Saturday evening, around 9:30 PM, we concluded the 3rd edition of Midsummer FightNight. An edition that we wanted to hold this year even though we are in the middle of a concert, festival, and vacation season, not to mention the other HEMA tournaments that already took place a week or even two ago.

First of all, we would like to thank all our volunteers without whom this event would not have happened!! Thanks for being awesome!!!

We would also like to thank our friends at Iron Will HEMA Academy who are always there with us whether it’s about organizing events, volunteering, or getting a crew together to participate in international or local tournaments.

Unlike the first two editions, this year we had two sponsors, Kvetun Armoury & Sparring Gloves, whom we want to thank for helping us provide something tangible for the competitors this time but also for their ongoing contribution to the development of the HEMA scene everywhere ❤

Although it was a warm summer day, it was somewhat more bearable than in previous editions, so this year the heat (34C at the start time) did not overwhelm anyone and the lemonade stand did its duty.

This Saturday we had the first open sparring day in 2025. Normally we try to have an open doors sparring session each month, on the last saturday of the month, hosted between us and the other participating clubs, like Iron Will HEMA Academy.

It's a perfect opportunity to get more sparring experience and to test yourself against other fencers in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All participants are willing to ask and offer feedback and promote mutual development.

Everyone is welcome as long as they have full protective equipment.

Summer time is pretty hectic, with vacations and other obligations, but we still have quite a backlog of achievements to share, starting with the most recent one:
This Sunday we organized the 7 Swords Summer Cup - part 1: Synthetic Longsword. 5 of our most dedicated begginers battled each other for the Summer Champ title. Congratulations to:

Datorita codului rosu de canicula vom anula antrenamentul de miercuri, urmând sa îl recuperam sambata de la ora 16:00.
Aveți grija de voi și hidratati-va corespunzător!

- Duminica 5 mai nu se tine antrenament: Pastele
- Duminică 12 mai nu se tine antrenament: echipa 7 Swords participa la Siebenbürgen Historischer Schwertkampf 2024
Antrenamentele se vor recupera în viitor.
