Otto Koedooder - Dojo Shintaiki

In 2021, during the Covid pandemic, the WNA organised an online tournament for kata and freestyle forms. This was due to the fact that we could not host any physical events in this period. One of the members of Dojo Shintaiki, Shkell Hafidh from Tanzania scored a 1st place in three divisions; competition kata, self-designed kata and double freestyle seniors. All the medals were sent out to the winners. Sadly, the medals never arrived in Tanzania and were lost or stolen in the process. Recently a friend of his was visiting the Netherlands, which enabled us to reprint the medals and make sure that they reach their rightful owner. So congratulations Hafidh to finally receive the medals five years after the tournament 💪

Congratulations to Saud Al-kandari from Kuwait on obtaining his blue belt WNA nunchaku-do. He is continuing to grow at a fast pace and as our representative of Kuwait he is working on setting up our sport in his country. I wish him a lot of luck with that and fun with his training towards the brown belt!

A belated congratulations to Jyotis Moy Singha from India on obtaining his WNA nunchaku-do green belt. He is in charge of the Assam region in India for the Nunchaku Association of India , which is doing an amazing job growing in India. I wish him a lot of fun with his journey towards the blue belt!
