𝐂𝐮 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐭 𝐯𝐚 𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐦 𝐜𝐚 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐚𝐧, 𝐏𝐮𝐩𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐧𝐮 𝐯𝐚 𝐟𝐢 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐚. ♿️
Cu toate acestea, dorim să asigurăm persoanele cu dizabilități că sunt binevenite și că le așteptăm cu brațele deschise la celelalte 3 plaje accesibilizate cu scaune plutitoare din Mamaia (Blanco Beach Mamaia By Bavaria Blu), Năvodari (Plaja Ancutei) și din Mangalia (Plaja lebedelor - Mangalia).

În ciuda acestei modificări, dorim să ne asigurăm că persoanele cu dizabilități pot continua să se bucure de experiența plajei și să aibă acces la apă și distracție.

👍 Asociația pune la dispoziție câte un scaun flotabil pe plajele partenere, iar operatorul de plaja pune la dispoziție șezlong gratuit pentru utilizatorii de scaun rulant. 👏
ATENȚIE - Pentru gradul 2,3 sau însoțitor - șezlongul este contracost. 🏖️

☀️ Vă așteptăm cu drag la celelalte 3 plaje accesibilizate, unde puteți utiliza scaunele flotabile și puteți experimenta bucuria și libertatea pe care o oferă apa mării. 🌊

This week, swimmer, made the difficult decision to pull out of the Tokyo Games after her request for reasonable accommodations was denied. Becca is a deaf-blind Paralympian, who won gold at the Rio Olympics in 2016 and silver at the London Olympics in 2012.

We need to ask the very question Becca is asking: why in 2021 are disabled people still having to fight for their rights? Why are we loving barriers on those who have already overcome so much? Becca’s brave decision to step back will hopefully allow for change to happen, for awareness to be raised, and for accountability to be taken. Sometimes when we leave, we open another door for ourselves. But sometimes leaving opens a door for others. Let’s hope that Becca is opening the door wide open for so many other athletes!

What an inspiring story!

Dmitrii Pavlenko is the first certified quadruple amputee diver from Russia.

In October 2019, he made an independent dive in the Y-40 Deep Joy.
This achievement was registered as a world record.

Dmitry is the only quadruple amputee diver in the world who makes independent dives. He uses special "butterfly" fins on his shoulders for moving underwater.

“Dmitry uses an OCEAN REEF full face mask for two reasons:
- he has the ability to equalize the pressure during the descent himself
- As well as this, when Dmitri needs to say something, he can speak in voice as he wears a full-face mask with coms. He has the ability to communicate in voice, since he does not have fingers to use divers’ signs.
Thanks to the full-face mask, he gained independence under water.”
