Where others close their hearts, be generous.
Where others twist the truth, be honest.
When others rush, be patient.
When others are indifferent, be kind.
When others lose their peace, stay calm.
Be a light unto yourself — and share it with others.

Every time I return to the monastery, I am reminded of the simplicity and quiet that are available to us when we make space for them 🌿 It was a joy to share that with you.
A heartfelt thank you for everyone for simply being there. I am grateful for sharing your openness, your silence, your questions and your willingness to slow down. Together, we remembered something simple yet easily forgotten: that what we are looking for is already here.

Take that into your mind, your heart, your love. 🤍
A warm hug,

Everything in life is connected. Nothing stands completely on its own. Every person, every action, every word affects something or someone else, whether we see it or not.
When we begin to notice this, we naturally become gentler, more patient, more loving.

Pause for a moment, and allow, accept, and embrace yourself as you are.

We spend so much of our lives trying to change the world, and so little learning how to be at peace within it.
Without inner clarity, even with the best intentions, our actions in the world easily become part of the problem.

𝗟𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝟯 𝘀𝗽𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝗳𝘁 ✨ 🧘🏻 for May 22th-24th retreat
Most of us look for peace and happiness in the obvious things of life: a good job, a good family, a good place to live. These are all valuable parts of life, but by themselves they cannot give the peace and fulfillment we deeply seek.
In order to begin to ‘see’ beyond the obvious aspects of life, the mind has to become, at least to some extent, free of conflict and resistance.
This is what a dharmic mind is: a mind that lives, thinks, and acts in greater harmony with life. To me, this is one of the most beautiful aspects of yoga: the gradual creation of such a mind, so that we may come closer to the deeper and more essential dimensions of life.
The gradual creation of a dharmic mind is one of the most important aspects of our weekly yoga practice and of this retreat.
If you feel called to explore this more deeply, you are warmly welcome to join us.
