Yesterday, I had the honor of serving as Match Commissioner for the final of the 2026 CAF Women’s Champions League CECAFA Qualifiers.

Deeply grateful to CAF and CECAFA for entrusting me with this responsibility and giving me the opportunity to contribute to the growth of women’s football in Africa. 🇷🇼💙

It was also wonderful to reconnect with Jean. In 2020, as a journalist, I had the opportunity to interview her while she was playing in the UK. Six years later…she is now serving as Interim Executive Director of CECAFA.
