The discussions centered on enhancing protection and support frameworks for victims and witnesses.The meeting brought together specialized GBV prosecutors, victim and witness support staff, and personnel from the GBV and Drug Abuse Case Monitoring Department.

The Minister of State in the Ministry of Health, Dr. Yvan Butera, received Prof. Wilfred Ndifon, Chief Research Officer at AIMS and President of the AIMS Rwanda Research and Innovation Centre.

Their discussions focused on strengthening collaboration and deploying mathematical modeling, data analytics, and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to translate health data into actionable decisions. This partnership aims to optimize healthcare services and significantly improve public health outcomes.

Minister of Health, Dr. Sabin Nsanzimana, held a strategic meeting with Itzhak Fisher, Chairman of the Board of Directors at the Rwanda Development Board (RDB).Their discussions focused on accelerating current investments in the health sector and unlocking new opportunities to establish Rwanda as a premier continental hub for advanced medical services, healthcare innovation, and biotechnology manufacturing.

The Minister of Health, Dr. Sabin Nsanzimana, received the outgoing Canadian High Commissioner to Rwanda, Julie Crowley, for a farewell courtesy call. Their discussions centered on evaluating and expanding strategic partnerships within the health sector, with a strong focus on reproductive health, clinical service upgrades, and sustainable medical collaborations.

President Paul Kagame met with IFAD Vice President Dr. Gérardine Mukeshimana and AUDA-NEPAD CEO Nardos Bekele-Thomas on the sidelines of the Africa Food Systems Forum in Kigali. The discussions centered on scaling up collaborative efforts to boost agricultural development and ensure food security across the continent.

President Paul Kagame stated that the way financing is structured in Africa often favors those who already have capital, making it difficult for those with viable projects but no capital to secure loans. He emphasized that governments must play a role in de-risking banks, enabling youth who lack capital or collateral to easily access funding for their projects.

The Head of State added that supporting youth in this manner benefits the entire nation as those assisted can scale their projects, generate revenue and create sustainable jobs for others.

The Minister of Environment, Dr. Bernadette Arakwiye, held discussions with the Executive Director of the Fund for Responding to Loss and Damage to explore how Rwanda can continue to be supported in tackling the impacts of climate change.The talks focused on the Fund's assistance to Rwanda and other nations facing loss and damage from climate change, aiming to enhance disaster resilience and rehabilitate damaged areas.

The Minister of Agriculture, Dr. Telesphore Ndabamenye, received a delegation from Yara led by Alexandre Macedo, Executive Vice President for Yara Africa. The discussions centered on strengthening partnerships to transform Rwanda's agriculture sector through technology, innovation and strategic investment.

This collaboration will support the Rwanda Food Innovation Platform (RFIP) and Food Basket Sites (FoBaSi) initiatives by utilizing high yielding fertilizers to boost agricultural productivity and achieve the goal of doubling yields
