AKCC made a successful start to RCA Season 2022-2023 TN Media News - Sports

AKCC started the season 2022-2023 with a win against Saad XI CC in the ongoing Tera System T20 tournament. Electing to bat first Saad XI CC posted a decent 228/5 in their innings. Opener Sajid top scored with 88. For AKCC Zahoor picked up 3 wickets on his debut for AKCC. Chasing the mammoth target AKCC openers Muhammad Idrees and Faisal Rahman started brilliantly and shared opening stand of 94. Muhammad Aftab Gul joined Faisal after fall of Idrees and continued the momentum and kept scoring at a very fast rate. AKCC eventually chased the target in 18.4 overs for the loss of 4 wickets and hence winning by 6 wickets. Faisal top scored with 60 while Idrees made 57.
