🏏 Black Hawks Riyadh storm into Semi-Finals! 🏆

Black Hawks Riyadh have officially qualified for the semi-finals of the RCA Winter Season Tournament 2025–2026 after a thrilling victory over Kams Indopak CC.

It was a game defined by resilience and a remarkable comeback. At one stage, Kams Indopak CC looked set to post a massive total of around 220–230. However, a brilliant effort from our spin unit — Nazeer, Faheem, Asif, and Parvez — along with exceptional fielding, ensured the opposition was restricted to 200 runs. Asif Mushtaq 3/27 in 3 overs, Nazeer 2/27 in 4 overs

In response, Black Hawks Riyadh came out with an aggressive approach. The opening pair of Sajjad and skipper Rehan provided a blistering start, scoring 70+ runs in just 5 overs. Rehan Hassan contributed a quick 21 off 13 balls, including 3 fours and 1 six, before getting out in the 6th over.

Muhammad Sajjad then took control of the innings with a sensational knock of 97 off 47 balls, including 12 fours and 5 sixes. He was well supported by Nazeer Farooqui, who once again showed his experience with a superb 51 off 28 balls, including 8 fours.

Despite a few hiccups later in the innings, Nazeer ensured the team stayed on track and remained till the very end. When he got out, only 1 run was needed off 5 balls. Umar calmly finished the chase, sealing a 3-wicket victory and confirming Black Hawks Riyadh’s place in the semi-finals.

What a phenomenal performance by the boys! 💪 We chased down a mammoth total and officially qualified for the Quarter Finals in grand fashion , winning 5 out of 5 matches in the league stage! 🏆
Combined Stars scored 234/10 in 19.3 overs. Nazeer of Black Hawks took 4 wickets.

While chasing, our two most experienced players (Rehan and Nazeer) stood tall and made sure we crossed the line with authority when it mattered the most.

Captain Rehan Hassan led from the front (57 off 33 balls), taking charge right from the first Power Play 🚀 smashing 80+ runs in the first 6 overs, setting the tone for a fearless chase.

Despite losing our dynamic opener Sajjad very early in the innings, the team showed great composure and character.

Then came the game-changing moment 💥 Nazeer Farooqui played a blistering knock of 59 (20 balls), brilliantly supported by Shihab Akhtar (34 off 14 balls) keeping the momentum alive and the pressure on the opposition.

And just when Black Hawks Riyadh just needed 4 to win, young Abdullah stepped in and finished it in style, smashing a huge SIX 👏🔥

Team Black Hawks Riyadh in RCA Winter Tournament 2025-26, Qualified to Quarter Finals after winning 5 out of 5 Matches in League stage.

🏏 Not every battle ends with a winning trophy, but every battle tells a story.

Black Hawks Riyadh gave everything on the field in the final of the Riyadh Cricket Association NCC Hardball Tournament 2025-26 – Hayer League. After fighting hard and winning a demanding semi final earlier in the morning, the team stepped back onto the field for the final in the afternoon — a true test of endurance, character, and resilience.

Playing two high-intensity matches on the same day pushed our warriors to their limits. The body felt the fatigue, but the heart never stopped fighting. Despite the result not going our way, the boys showed courage, unity, and the spirit that defines this team.

Credit to Jilah Stars for their strong performance and congratulations on winning the final.

There were still moments of fight and pride, with Shihab A leading resistance with a determined 43, while every player gave their all until the last ball. This team does not measure success only by trophies but by the courage to stand up, compete, and never back down.

Pressure games create big moments, and Black Hawks Riyadh showed what true character and belief look like. In a high-intensity semi final against KSM XI CC, the Hawks chased down a challenging 215-run target to secure a memorable 4-wicket victory and book a place in the final of the Riyadh Cricket Association NCC Hardball Tournament 2025-26 – Hayer League.

The chase started with pure intent as Muhammad Sajjad delivered a blistering 49 off just 19 balls, putting the opposition immediately under pressure and giving the team the perfect launch.

Leading from the front, skipper Rehan Hassan played a captain’s knock, scoring a brilliant 88 off 56 while taking on the bowlers and controlling the tempo of the chase. Staying till the crucial final phase, he guided the team calmly before falling when only 12 runs were required off 13 balls, leaving the finishing responsibility to his teammates.

Shihab played a vital role in the middle overs, supporting his skipper and ensuring the momentum never slipped away.

Earlier, disciplined bowling efforts helped keep the opposition within reach, with Nazeer Farooqui picking up 2 key wickets alongside important contributions from Asif Mushtaq and Umer Gujjar

An absolute thriller in the NCC Hardball Tournament 2025-26 (Hayer League) as Black Hawks Riyadh held their nerve to secure a dramatic 5-run victory against Shaheen Star CC! 💪🏏

Batting first, Black Hawks posted a strong 240/6 in 20 overs, powered by brilliant performances:

However, a fighting innings from Khan Zaib, who scored a brilliant 105, brought his team back into the contest and turned the game into a true nail-biter.
