Abdul Muneeb's sensational 98 off 45 and Adnan Khan's explosive 53 off 21 powered Pakhtoon XI to 236/5 and a commanding 84 run victory

ANOTHER THRILLING VICTORY FOR PAKHTOON XI

Alhamdulillah Pakhtoon XI continued its winning momentum in the YACA Summer Cup 2026 Division 1, defeating Pak Crescent by 17 runs in a hard fought contest.

Batting first, Pakhtoon XI posted 134/10 in 20 overs. Despite losing wickets at regular intervals, valuable contributions throughout the innings helped the team put a competitive total on the board. A fighting knock from Adnan Khan 37 runs, ensured that Pakhtoon XI reached a defendable score.

Defending 134, Pak Crescent started their chase confidently and looked in control for most of the innings. However, cricket is a game of moments, and Pakhtoon XI seized those moments brilliantly.
When Pak Crescent were building a strong partnership, Sagheer Ayoub produced a match changing over, claiming 2 crucial wickets in the same over and breaking the opposition's momentum. Those breakthroughs brought Pakhtoon XI back into the contest and lifted the team's energy on the field.
After the breakthrough, Captain Anwar Ul Haq Anwar and Kamran Khan bowled with exceptional discipline and control, keeping the batters under constant pressure and not allowing them to accelerate. Pak Crescent still in the hunt at 109/4, the match took a dramatic turn when Irshad Khan delivered a sensational over, picking up 3 wickets in a single over and completely changing the course of the game. What seemed like a comfortable chase suddenly turned into a collapse, as Pak Crescent were eventually bowled out for 117. In Result Pakhtoon XI won the match by 17 Runs

This victory once again showcased the fighting spirit, belief, and unity of Pakhtoon XI. Every player contributed, every wicket mattered, and every run was defended with passion.

YACA Summer Cup 2026 Division 1

Alhamdulillah Another outstanding team performance as Pakhtoon XI defeated Gateway Fabrication CC by 24 runs, securing our third consecutive victory in the league stage and moving to the top of the points table.
Batting first, Pakhtoon XI posted a competitive 164/9 in 20 overs. A brilliant innings from Irshad Khan (57 off 39 balls) laid the foundation, while explosive cameos from Dawood Khan (27 off 11 balls) and Kamran Khan (28 off 12 balls) provided the finishing touch and pushed the team to a challenging total.
Defending 164, our bowlers displayed discipline, determination, and teamwork to restrict Gateway Fabrication CC to 140/8 in 20.
This success is the result of unity, hard work, commitment, and team spirit shown by every member of Pakhtoon XI. Three matches, three wins, and the journey continues with the same focus and determination.
