Youth , Women, and Sports Affairs Division will play an integral part in ensuring that the New Zealand Festival Day is well presented inside our facility.
Our staff will partake in tasks and programs during this event.
For this reason, this notice serves to inform the public that ALL Services offered by our Division will temporarily close on Friday.
All COURTS, VENUES, and GYM are closed on Friday until all festival activities end.
Sorry for any inconvenience; but let's join hand in hand to celebrate the New Zealand Day Festival .

Notice and Reminder for Court Users

It has come to our attention that some sports teams usually come and use the courts without proper booking and payment of usage charges.
Our calls and reminders were always ignored, and this is becoming an attitude and behaviour for some teams.
Lest, we forget that these courts are public spaces, but they're on pay per use basis.
As of now;
1. Teams without proper booking or those who didn't booked with us will be denied from using the courts.
2. Teams without proper or have outstanding dues (payments) with us will be prevented from accessing our courts
3. No walk - In bookings after hours when responsible staff/ officers already leave their office.
4. All daily bookings are scheduled, and the starting time for usage is the responsibility of teams. Start on your booked timing to prevent time dragging for the next user.

Responsible officers and securities have the right to remove, ignore, or deny any team that goes against our notice.

Please come and do proper booking to avoid questioning and inconveniences.

The month of September is the last month, and some of you gym goers membership will lapse.
The good news is that the last 3 months' membership period will start from October - December.
Are there any interested new members or those who wish to renew your membership? Please see our front Desk for registration forms and further formalities.

Hi All
It's been a while, but our issue concerning limited updates is now solved. We will get you posted.
Just for a few announcements;
1. Our facilities will host New Zealand day on 13/09/24. All spaces, including venues and courts, were fully occupied. Thus, some bookings and usual evening workouts will be affected.
That said, the Exercise Room or Studio Room is CLOSED on Wednesday and Thursday from public access. This room will be used by school and youth groups for dance practice in order to be ready for performance during New Zealand Day.
Practice time will be from 2PM - 8PM on both Wednesday and Thursday. No other groups are allowed to use the Studio Room/Exercise Room.
2. For our Outdoor Courts/Indoor Courts, there will be no games or training sessions after 6 pm on Thursday. We are honoured to give time to NZ Day Hosts to do their setup or venue preparation.

To recap, the Exercise Room is closed for public access on Wed & Thur, while Courts is closed after 6 pm on Thursday.

Hello once again everyone from the admin of the official Honiara Multi Purpose Facility page.
Foremost, sorry for not updating members on important events and announcements that is of relevancy to you all.
Anyways, we have a quick announcement to make.

Firstly, it should be noted that there was a shortage of water supply due to disconnections to our service line. Gym users are urged to use the western end bathrooms/Toilets until this water disconnection issue is rectified.
It was disheartening to learnt that some gym users are not abiding to this instructions as they keeps on using the convenience rooms inside the gym.
Please, be warned that this continous attitude of not following instruction will result with the closure of gym for days to clean up your mess.

Secondly, a new Cash Power Meter for electricity supply was now installed inside Lawson Tama Field and electricity is now up and running. This move from Kw - CP was solely done to introduce user pay for electricity cost when using Lawson Tama Field.

With that, Thank you all and we`ll keep you posted when arising issues and announcement needs to be done.

Youth Groups, Sports Groups and Women`s group within the 12 HCC Wards are encouraged to Affiliate with HCC - Youth, Sport`s & Womens Division

Our Affiliation fee is $500.00 annually.
We have privileges.
For Sport`s groups and Teams; paying your affiliation means your whole team can just pay $10.00 to use the Gym ( Group Entrance & Session). No need membership/Non Members session Fee. This applies for both Youth and Women Groups.

Closure of Venues/Courts

This is to notify the public that some of our spaces inside the facility will be out of bound for public Access. The spaces includes;

1. Upstairs Open space double rooms
2. Old Conference room
3. Indoor Multi Sport`s Court
4. Western End, Old YSWD Office rooms.

Be advised that Solomon Islands Electoral Commission (SIEC) has booked and engaged this Venue/Court for a 4 Months period for their operational Centre; in preparation for this upcoming NGE/HCC Elections.

The Gym, Outdoor Court, Performance stage and Southern courts are still available should you need to use them.

HCC Youth, Sport & Women`s Division aspire to empower both the populace consists of Youths, Women and the public. We will not be selective as this is the mission, objectives and obligations to sort the wide Honiara City Problems.

Our Sport`s Facilities attests that members are the beating heart of your sports club. Your club is also a collection of values. Serving the youths and passionate sports individuals for sometimes; and maintaining these values is key to developing a strong club culture that attracts people who want to be part of a proud community institution.
Importantly, the obvious one is the opportunity to engage in a healthy and active lifestyle through sport.
For this Year 2024, HCC - Youth, Women & Sport Divisions is calling for groups to affiliate with us. We are promoting that any Youth Groups, Women`s Group and Sport` Group must affiliate with us.
For every Sports Groups, we are offering Value Adds, meaning that once your Sport team or exercise team affiliates with us, each member of your team can access our Gymnasium exercise space without paying membership Fee or Non Member fees. We have a special rates for clubs and Groups.

All in All, see Youth, Women and Sport`s Desk respectively to get affiliated. We have our Head of Departments Manning their offices for further inquiries.

Our Cafeteria space and another room preferably for shop will soon be available.
This spaces/rooms are suitable for running Kai bar and the other suitable for running a shop.

These two spaces/rooms are inside Multipurpose Hall Building

GYM Membership Form 2024

Copies of our 2024 Gym membership form has run out as of yesterday.
We will make some more copies and will be available again.
But if you are desperate to have one copy; please inbox your email address or inbox us directly and we will send the soft copy to you.

And again, we wish to remind all again that Gym session fee is $30.00 for everyone. Our $10 per session fee will be effective after you register with fees for your 3 months membership.

Our Women`s Department is embarking on the inclusiveness of women in sports. As part of their annual workplan, Ladies Self Defense is one integral part to empower Women.
