The Solomon Islands State of Origin – GAME 3 kicks off tomorrow at 2:30pm! 🎉

We’ll start with the schools’ games, followed by the women’s and men’s matches! 💪🔥

3:30pm – 💃 SOO Women’s Game 3
4:00pm – 🏃‍♂️ SOO Men’s Game 3

Before the men’s game, we’ll have a 1-minute silence 🕊️ in honour of Danny Kabei — a great man, player, and valued member of the rugby league community. ❤️

Come down, watch some exciting rugby league, and cheer on the teams for the final game of the year! 🙌🇸🇧💙

On behalf of the Solomon Islands of Origin, it is with heavy hearts that we extend our deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the Late Danny Kabei.

A fearless competitor who played with compassion and love for his teammates - he will always be a true Rugby League man of the Solomon Islands. Often the first player to arrive at training or games for the Pacific Games 2023, Danny was an integral member of the team as well as the wider Rugby community, for both Rugby League and Union.

An adored father, husband and teammate - we mourn his loss but appreciate that the impact he had will resonate for all of us through the memories which we were lucky to share with him.

Danny will always be in our hearts and minds both on the field as well as wherever we walk every day. May late Danny rest in eternal peace, our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones. May God’s light and love shine upon you all, and surround you during these difficult times ahead. ❤️
